1/8-Inch Cobalt Steel M35 Jobber Length Twist Drill Bits, Pack of 12 | for Hard Metal, Stainless Steel

I’ve been using these now for several weeks and they are very durable and hold their edge. I have been using them to drill holes in stainless steel plate. I haven’t actually used very many yet and I even haven’t had to sharpen any. These are inexpensive enough that I can’t sharpen them as good and when one does go dull I just change it out. Size has been very consistent between drills and they were spot on size. Cuts way better than the high speed steel drills I had been using. I haven’t actually used ended up buying several more sizes from the same store.

I re-decked a trailer, I drilled 150 holes through 1/4 C Channel with one bit!

Worked great. I used on mild steel and a blade steel before hardening. It cut through the steel like butter. I was pleased by it’s performance.

I'm not typically a reviewer type. I'm a farmer, I work hard, play hard, and I'm typically more of a hammer type than a precision instrument type. I've broken every brand of bit you can imagine. Last night I sheered off some bolts on a tractor, and I was drilling it out to use an extractor. I burned up 2 Milwaukee bits, before I got these out. These bits are nothing short of impressive. I went right through a grade 8.8 (metric) bolt with the first bit. Drilled out the other two with the same bit. Checked it afterwards and it still has enough edge to use again. Will def buy again. 10/10

These surprised me. Better than 90% of the expensive bits we use at work. Aggressive enough to start a hole without a punch, motored through way more holes than I expected. I had 210 holes to drill in heat-treated 316, first bit did 204 before giving up! Wish they had a 6" long option

Nice to have on hand for common sizes that wear out.

I break 1/4 drill bits all the time when drilling steel (auto fabrication). this is an inexpensive approach to ensure I have a bit at the ready when I break one in the middle of my project. Great product at a great price

They work as advertised and are way cheaper than bits from the hardware stores I go to. I've had to drill holes through a number of thin steel plates and I'm still on my first bit after 30 holes. It is drilling slower so I'll start using the next one and leave first one for my plastic or wood drilling applications. Also love the small case it comes with. Will definitely buy again in the next size I need.
