I was genuinely surprised by how delicious these Chinese noodle dishes are! The dan dan noodles come with six packets of toppings and sauces, making them incredibly rich and flavorful. They offer a perfect blend of spicy and savory notes—far surpassing any instant noodles I’ve tried before. As for the sesame and scallion noodles, the flexibility to add fresh vegetables, fried eggs, or even thinly sliced beef elevates these dishes to a new level. All you need to do is boil some water. It’s that simple to prepare. These noodles are even better than what I’ve had in some Chinese restaurants, capturing that authentic local flavor beautifully. Highly recommend giving these a try if you’re looking for an easy, tasty meal option!

These Dan Dan noodles are off the chain delicious and very addictive. 1 box can easily serve 2 people. Very hearty and there is something very robust about the seasoning and the ingredients. You don't need to add anything. Now here is the bummer. The price jumped up from 27.00 to 37.00. I will not be reordering.

This product has visual appeal only. The flavor leaves an after taste and made my tongue tingle. A closer reading on the package there is a Cancer and birth defects warning - something that is not great to read when eating. The noodles are great but the after weird after taste was very disturbing. I did not finish this product due to concern based on that experience. :-(

Product seems to be of decent-quality ingredients, but the flavors are... okay? Certainly not as good as the DanDan noodles at my local CHAIN Chinese restaurant. And they're almost the same price! Overall the product is fine, if a little lackluster. Needs a LOT more Sichuan peppercorn in it, there was almost no numbing tingle that you come to expect with DanDan noodles. The value is just not there.

The Dan Dan Noodles are tasty enough I suppose, but it's hard to get excited about them because they're $6.50 each if you buy the 4-pack. They claim 2 servings per box, but no one is going to be satisfied splitting this in half, so instead of the advertised 470 kcal, it's actually 940. And for 2 people, you're spending $13 for a meal where everything comes in packets. You can get all of the components in this package separately, maybe spend $30 and have enough to make the equivalent of about 10 boxes worth of these noodles, give or take. The ingredients will be higher quality, the actual effort to cook will be almost exactly the same, and you'll be able to adjust the components to suit your taste. That's what I'll be doing in the future. Either way, whether you buy the boxes or make your own, have fun with it. I added a bunch of sliced mushrooms to mine and threw in a few thai chili peppers to give it some kick.

I just tried the Szechuan Style noodles, and felt compelled to write a review. They were OUTSTANDING--and that's coming from a meat-a-tarian. I saw an earlier review saying there were too many steps. I didn't find that to be true. However, I like to follow a recipe, so I may have a different view of following steps. The steps involved in making the Szechuan Style noodles: boil water, put sauce packets in boiling water for 1 min and remove, put noodles in boiling water for 5 minutes and drain, combine and eat.

Had to try them and I'm not impressed with the taste....I got the verity pack....if I could send them back I would.

Easy to follow instructions for a tasteful noodle meal by itself, or add your favorite meat or vegetable. Don't be fooled by the seemingly small noodle package; they do expand to a good portion but for true noodle enthusiasts you may need to add a second pack. Overall a good product for the price!
