I spend most of my weekends in the Scottish mountains, and have experimented with all kinds of snacks - bags of nuts, wine gums, Kendal Mint Cake, various pastries, choc bars and those ridiculously priced protein bars sold at most supermarkets. I generally like flapjacks, but I find that it is not always easy to find ones that are not too dry or bland - it's no fun being 1000m up, furiously masticating a dry tasteless flapjack! I bought a box of these flapjacks on a whim, knowing it was a bit of a gamble buying a box of flapjacks that might not even hit the mark.. and the next weekend after delivery, took two of them up into the mountains with me - one of the plain ones, and one of the Bakewell topped ones. During my first break between peaks, I tried the "plain" one and it absolutely hit the spot! Just the right amount of moisture, and despite being the one without any toppings, had a perfect balance of flavour and sweetness. They are quite large too - sometimes I've not been able to finish one in one sitting, eating half, pulling the wrapper over the rest and leaving it till later in the hike - so certainly cannot complain about the value. A full box of these has lasted me a few months, and since picking them up, have not taken any other snacks out with me - so they have worked out to be a good value buy. Just a couple left in my box, so about to order another one!

These are lovely and I find them really filling. Bought to take to work with me or if I’m out walking with the dog up the mountain. There isn’t one that I don’t like and they aren’t dry or crumbly like other flapjacks that I’ve purchased before. They are also quite big too and taste great. Will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Good value and excellent flavours !!

Was really impressed receiving my box of flapjacks look like they should be on a shop counter. My kids have enjoyed picking a different flavour to try from the selection an had something different each day and now have their own favourites. They say they taste better then shop bought branded flapjack they are moist, oaty, buttery, rich generous flavours with a choice of filling's and thicker then ones they've had before. Fantastic quality looking forward to trying the other box of flavours.

Really good for the money but do have a slight sweetnery taste.
