Not as long as I thought it would be (especially on the scalp), but still punctures and rolls nicely. Kinda hard if you have long hair, since the needles aren't very long. Recommend dividing hair ahead of time before doing each section. It comes with a clear case to place it in, but unlike other rollers, it doesn't have a cover over the head for easier travel. Plus, it's a little harder to clean than adjustable derm needles. Though much more convenient to use than adjustables, they can be cleaned with a spray. It is metal over plastic, so it can withstand hot water if you want to sterilize it.
