Every pool owner needs this kit.
Why oh why did I ever user the paper test strips. This is so much more accurate and helped me to balance my pool real easily. Very easy to use especially the more often you do it. I had no idea my levels were nowhere near where they needed to be by using the test strips as they were wildly inaccurate. If you are using test strips and still having trouble with getting crystal clear pool water then switch to this kit. It’ll let you know what chemical levels are off. Quick tip about alkalinity and ph. Don’t use ph up. Just aim your return jets upward out of the water to raise your ph without affecting your alkalinity. The rest will balance easily after this.

If you own a hot tub, you need to have a professional water quality kit like this
This water quality test kit is essential if you own a spa/ hot tub. This is the same kit that the professional pool/ spa/ hot tub technicians use. Proper Calcium Hardness, Alkalinity, oH, and Chlorine levels are critical to keeping you skin safe while enjoying your hot tub. It would cost a fortune to pay a company to adjust your hot tub water balance and sanitization each time you use your hot tub. With this kit, you can exactly know the what the water quality of your hot tub is. Then you can add whichever chemical is required to keep your hot tub water safe, clear, and sanitary. I have purchased a Taylor water quality kit for myself, and both of my sons as we all have hot tubs. The directions are easy to follow , step by step, and extremely accurate. Hot tub water quality changes with temperature, time, amount of use, both over and under use, and the constituent of your local water supply. My recommendation is that if you own a pool, spa, or hot tub, purchase and use this kit to ascertain your water is safe and sanitary for use. Avoid adverse skin and medical issues related to using a hot tub that is not well maintained.

Tired of test strips
Got tired of using test strips and trying to guess the colors. This kit includes a helpful booklet that explains how to balance your pool based on your pool’s volume. The results are very accurate and comparable to testing water at a pool store. It also clearly shows how much chlorine or acid needs to be added, which makes pool maintenance much easier.
