Excellent product. Holds phone tightly and lanyard gives extra protection just in case it happens to come off rollers.

My phone sits in a Quad-Lock case, a system I absolutely love! So when I first got my kayak I got a Quad-Lock holder for my phone. It’s worked out really well, although I had a couple of near misses when I wanted to remove my phone to take a picture or some video while out on the water.I’m also a huge fan of Yak-Attack products! I think they are thoughtful designed with the kayak fisherman in mind, and as I was checking out other products I came across this. Since I already had the base and arm for my Quad Lock, I opted to try out this phone holder. I’ve used it a couple of times now and I’ve still fumbled with my phone, but removing it from the holder is soooooo much easier, and the added tether ensures my phone won’t sink in the drink if it does go overboard someday! The coiled strap sits out of the way but stretches far enough to easily manage the phone and anything I want to do with it.It’s a great piece of equipment, essential for any kayak angler, has a great price/value ratio, sits out of the way because the profile isn’t very big, and is super easy to set up for your particular phone and use.Highly recommend!

Had it for a month, just outside of the return window, but just used it this past wkd for the first time, but as far as value ($70) I was hoping this would be a little more durable, I understand it’s silicone but still one outing! I have other YakAttack accessories that are wonderful, this one however not great. It is easy to mount. The design seems cool but haven't had too much time to see if I personally like it. I reached out to YakAttack customer service and they are going to replace it which is a huge plus!!!

As with all the products I purchased from Yak Attack for my kayak, I am very happy with the phone holder as well..I like the flexibility after the install, allows me to position it lower so that I can grab my rod when I get a hit. As with many kayaks issues real estate is important so it’s great to have that flexibility.Expensive, but well built and functional.

Holds phone great, but why can’t we buy the yak attack arm separately? Not cool and the price for the full system is ridiculous. Just get the 1” ball extenders instead and they are hard to find.
