great, heavy, unique control, scratches easy, expensive, hard ball, FAST, FUN TIME. I would use this indoors on a surface that doesn't scratch, or if you are hosting a tournament where the balls don't get to much use. they will wear out quickly.

I was skeptical. When these balls became the "official" ball of the Professional Pickleball Association tour (PPA), the pros revolted. Apparently there were a lot of issues with the first generation of these balls. That seems to be fixed in the current generation. I'm playing in a PPA tournament next month. I typically use Franklin X-40 or Selkirk Pro S1 balls outdoors. The Franklin balls are considered the standard by most clubs. (I have over 200 of them I use in a ball machine.) The Selkirk balls seem to hold up well and have a great no-crack warranty. So, I was skeptical to try the Vulcan VPRO Flight balls. They are extremely shinny which makes them appear very hard though I found them to be very similar to the Selkirk balls. After an hour of play on an hard court, the shine had worn off as the scuffed up a bit. This allowed me to get more spin and curve on my shots. Overall, I think these are a great ball. Better than what I expected. However, at the cost, I don't see a compelling reason to switch to these from the Franklin balls which I can typically source for lower costs in bulk on Amazon.

I really like how this balls play they have a good bounce and a great color that makes it so easy to follow. I feel like they are better balls for 4.0 and up players. they feel so much better in my paddle compared to the X40 which are good balls but play slower and don’t pop off the paddle. The Vulcan just plays better and has a better feel off the paddle and I feel like power actually transfers to the ball. So far the quality is good, the price is also decent for what you get in my opinion

great feel. i think they stay their weight and feel longer. they do deform a little faster and lose their circular shape. i normally have to toss it up and spin it to see if it still stays in shape. but even so, one of my favorite feeling balls. most hard hitters love these that i play with while more who play the soft part of the game and dink more don't like them.

Excellent pickleballs. They have great bounce and feel good. Once you use them for a while, they will wear like the rest of them, but they hold up pretty well.

A little "poppy" when using for the first time but when worn in, perfect! Will be buying again
