Dr. Tung’s Smart Floss is, quite simply, the best dental floss I’ve ever used. My dentist originally recommended it, and although I didn’t love it at first, I decided to stick with it — and I’m glad I did. This floss removes everything between your teeth. I floss twice a day, every day, and since switching to Dr. Tung’s, I’ve noticed a substantial decrease in plaque buildup around my teeth. One of the standout features is how the floss expands as you use it, allowing it to clean more effectively than standard floss. It reaches tight spaces, sweeps away debris, and leaves your mouth feeling genuinely cleaner. Yes, Dr. Tung’s is slightly pricier than most other flosses, but I’d much rather invest in preventing cavities — it’s cheaper, less painful, and far better for long‑term dental health. I keep buying it because it works, plain and simple. As a bonus, the packaging is 100% recyclable, which makes it a great choice for both your teeth and the environment. Overall, Dr. Tung’s Smart Floss is a fantastic product that delivers on its promises.

This floss works really well for me. I thought I had tight spaces between my teeth, so before, used floss like Glide, but this one, in addition to being made of a safer material, have no trouble getting between my teeth. I feel they clean better too. Taste is subjective, but I like the mild flavor better than mint.

Quality dental floss. It has great texture that helps pull plaque off of interproximal areas. Have started recommending it to my patients.

This has been my go-to floss for a number of years now. It has some unique properties that make it superior to mass-market brands. It gets thinner as you tug on the ends, then expands back out when you let up, especially when wet. This way, it's easy to get in between the teeth, yet it doesn't cut into the gums the way thinner floss can. I reckon it also cleans better because of this effect. It's also quite strong; I've only rarely had it snap, though when it does, it can get stuck in pretty good. Watch out for it fraying—that's a sign you should discard and unspool a fresh span. Do that, and you shouldn't have a problem. Finally, a word about the dispenser: it used to be plastic, but a couple years ago, the manufacturer switched to paper. While this is more environmentally friendly, the paper dispenser can fall apart if you get it repeatedly wet.

This has been my go-to floss for decades now. Truly the best floss I have ever used—and it’s the only floss I will use. I honestly don’t understand how people put up with normal thin floss that barely seems to do the job—the standard stuff doesn’t clean the sides of your teeth very well. My dentists are impressed every time (yes, I do floss daily—and brush after every meal). I will say that the current paper dispenser isn’t necessarily ideal for rugged world travel. The cutting part came off after it had been banged around and exposed to moisture on my travels, and I had to keep track of this tiny cutter piece in my travel bag. However, for everyday use—when not subjected to moisture and excessive movement—it holds up fine. Hoping they come up with a more durable travel case (bamboo plastic, perhaps?) where you can simply swap out the floss (refills).

Once you try this dental floss, you won’t spend money on any other brand! Tight teeth, no problem! Wide gaps? Works very well! You have both situations in your mouth like I do? This is your dental floss answer!

This stuff works amazing and never breaks - I just unwrap exactly what I need for my floss sesh and never have to go back for a second string. This stuff is built to do the job even on my lower teeth which are a tight space and a floss breaker! And the taste is subtle but makes it a very enjoyable experience. Flossing is key and I love that this is natural floss with no secret ingredients that are found in the big floss companies. I was shocked to find that out initially and immediately threw out my super glide floss and turned to the real deal.

The best floss. Pricey but try and it and you'll never go back to any other floss. Even my dental hygienist asked what I use and now uses it herself!

I came across this product in a newsletter from Bryan Johnson on how he takes care of his teeth. The packaging is sustainable (0 plastic) and is easy to dispose of. The floss itself is thicker then the ones I tried before but also more soft and easy on your gums
