Works good on many surfaces
I used it to seal gaps in my heating and cooling system which it had no problems adhering to the cleaned metal ducks. However it didn't adhere to glass or wood very well. I do feel it is a good value, easy to use and good quality and thickness.

Perfect for my smokestack
I bought this tape to use on the smokestack of a wood burning stove that I have in my workshop. the smokestack (chimney) pieces are in 3 foot sections that have a smooth end and the other is kind of corrugated and a little smaller in diameter. I use a heat resistant caulk between the joints to help keep smoke from leaking out at the joints. I used the tape on the joints to cover any caulk that squeezes out and to also help seal the joint. This tape worked great. It's paintable too. After about a week of using the stove daily the joints are not leaking and the paint isn't peeling off. Two thumbs up!!

It definitely does what it says, and stands up to high heat like in a car during the summer
this stuff was great, i put it in my beetle when the upholstery on the door fell off and it held up in the high heats that would build up in the car. other duct tape would melt and fall off. it's super easy to use. high quality. doesn't smell any different than other tape. it's ease of removal depends on what you put it on...but it sticks really good!. it held up in my Beetle for a couple years before I sold it. If that Beetle is still running I bet it's still there. It's a decent amount that comes on roll. (FWIW I live on the East Coast US, in the middlish region. It gets HOT in the summer's now. And that Beetle would get HOT because of the GIANT windscreen) I was really happy with this because sometimes you need a tape that doesn't melt. I've also used it outside where the tape is in the sun, like on top of trash cans so I can write my address on it or that it's yard trash and not to put your car trash in it, you lazy sods.

Very good adhesive. Stays well adhered to many surfaces.
I have used it in many surfaces and so far has worked very well. I Have even used in some aplications where it goes bellow -45 C and still performs well.

This โmetalโ tape is doing great
Seems to be working just fine for sealing the connection in our dryer vent. Very pleased. Some complain about difficulty getting the backing off the tape โฆ not difficult.

whats not to like?
great tape just hard to get paper backing off- once you got it started its ok, but tear it off and you will have a time trying to get it started and separated.

So many uses for this aluminum tape
In our former home we used this tape to seal the chimney clean out port for our pellet stove. We left the roll for the new owner. Little did we know, we would find many uses for it in our next home. We've used it around the heating system ducts to eliminate heat loss between the grate and the duct. We use it on anything that would get hot where duct tape, etc. wouldn't work. We've even used it to repair charging cords for our various devices. It's been used on metal kick plates that have sharp edges and so much more. I'm sure viewers can think of a dozen more possibilities.
