when fully extended to 19 inches, how much top tube is still in the base tube? I want to make sure there won't be wobble.

Not sure how much tube is in the base without taking the cover off my boat. But my seats are not wobbly at all, very sturdy.

What screw dimensions do you recommend for attaching to 3/4” plywood flooring?

The seat mount is drilled for 5/16" bolts. I chose to drill them out and use 3/8" because I already had them in stock. Mine are Machine screws, Phillips oval head, Stainless steel 18-8, 3/8"-16 x 2-1/2".
