Because the etching/application of the Hollow mask misses the mark. It's too detailed to be so small. It looks muddy and barely stands out in white against the black. The band is smooth, weighty, a nice quality, thought, so good just as a ring. The sword is what stands out. It's perfectly made. Very detailed and precisely cute. The handle, the cross guard, the blade itself, all perfect. I like that the length of chain from the end of the hilt is what has the clip on it. The sword is amazing and, for me, makes the set worth the price. The ring is nothing special if you're looking at it as a Bleach themed piece of merch, but it is a great ring otherwise. Just misses the mark as far as fitting the theme. I'd gift the sword to a friend, but I'd etch the ring a bit better or something before gifting or wearing myself.

As a huge fan of bleach, I can appreciate a great piece like this. I always love ichigo's banki shower. Cool replica to hang on my backpack. The ring fits a little loose on my finger but I'm loved the hollow mask emblem.
