I had eczema as a kid and as an adult often find myself with pink itchy skin patches caused by reactions to random triggers—wind burn, contact with woolen apparel, scratchy collars, residues left by hair conditioners, you name it. So whenever this happens, using a layer of this "smart gel" sparingly on the unhappy spots (esp after a warm shower) adds an invisible layer of protection for my skin to get back to normal fast. It's like having a second layer of skin in a pump bottle. btw, the pump needs quite a few pushes at first to get it going, but once "primed" and flowing, the flow is quite precise. Honestly, I'd give this product ten stars if I could. I have repurchased it 6 times over 2 years, and it has always arrived with a consistently perfect gel texture. (ps Do avoid ordering gel skincare products during the summer months since extreme temps can break down gel emulsions/make them liquify. Instead what I do is stock up before summer because it's so helpful for comforting mild sunburn.) One more tip: definitely avoid using on your eyelids/ near eyes. All silicone gels will make vision blurry if you get even a tiny amount in your eyes, so you'll need to embark on some copious warm water eyewashes if this happens!!! Which is a dumb mistake I made myself but (hopefully) won't make again!

A good scar treatment silicon gel. Requires prolonged use to see results, but that's the case with any other scar product. Improves the appearance of the scar for the better, good texture, odorless, large quantity for the price.

This product exceeded my expectations. The scars I used it on are now barely visible. A little bit goes a long way. I still haven’t used the entire product and I bought this over a year and a half ago. It’s a good value and did the job effectively.
