Work Great
I was able to convert my 240V car charger outlet to test the Hobart mixer, which requires three-phase power. The connections need to be well-covered since it’s high voltage, but it worked perfectly to test the machine.

SAVE YOUR TIME BUY A REAL CONVERTOR
WILL BURN YOUR WINDINGS AND COST YOU A FEW HUNDRED OR A FEW THOUSAND DOLLARS. Don't buy this thing if you have any love for the machines you own. Go buy a rotary convertor, this thing is a few run capacitors and a prayer. Sounds good in theory and admittedly it will make a 3 phase spin on single phase, but not for long. Massive imbalance, pulls way too much power on L1-L2 leg.

Worked as advertised
The unit worked great. I was able to hook up an older three phase compressor to it and everything seems to be going well. Highly recommend it for anyone that needs to go from single phase to three phase.

Buyer beware the details.
This is not a true Phase converter. It will provide 3 phase at start up but the third leg drops off a few seconds after motor start. It works for resistance field motors but will trip the breaker on induction field motors. this was not specified in any instructions or literature had to call vevor support to get that information. For the price you're better off with a Variable Frequency drive than you are with this "digital phase shifter"
