My 8 yr old took a couple days working on it and it looks really cool. He loves it.

My son loved putting together this set. Over all the directions were easy to follow, it made a really cool play set, and for the money we paid it was great. There were no missing pieces with this set.

I gave this to my 11-year-old nephew, and while he hasn’t given me his full review, I could tell he was excited about it. The pirate theme was a hit, and with over 800 pieces, it definitely kept him busy. It’s a nice alternative to the big-name brick sets (compatible and detailed), but more budget-friendly. I did notice the box and instructions weren’t quite as polished as some other brands, but the overall value seemed solid. It made a great gift for a kid who enjoys a good building challenge.

This kit is so impressive! The box itself is really beautiful, and it would make an excellent gift! The graphics are sort of shiny/holographic and it just makes it look really expensive. As far as the actual building kit, it's great quality - almost identical to the name brand. The instructions are easy to follow, and the blocks are sorted out nicely. It has a lot of pieces and steps, so that's important. This will take a long time for you to build, but it's worth it for the end result. And the process to build it is just so much fun! This was purchased for a 12-year-old who is familiar with these kits, and he did need a little help at times, but overall was doable. The end product is really fun to play with and display! So many fun little details that really make this kit well worth the money!

This was a couple of hours of fun to put together for one of our children, it's cute, not to big that it takes up a ton of room but not so small it feels like you got cheated or can't play with it, it's sturdy, came with all the pieces, and had easy to follow instructions. Overall it's had hours of fun to build and play with after, and it will be well worth the money in our opinion :)

This little set has amazing features for its size. This is the type of build I would expect from Lego, but at twice the cost. Love that the set folds together for an enclosed tower, or opens up for more play space. The pirate ship is a small boat built to look like a full ship, but scaled down for the "large" island. Really have no problem with the smaller ship. Like the pirate sail, treasure chest with gems, and the coconut tree. Although the coconuts on the tree are cream colored instead of brown. It also has a neat little cannon to defend the island. Overall a good build with good directions and quality blocks. Will consider this brand for future sets.

I got this set for my nephew for his birthday, who is a fan of One Piece. I already got him a One Piece-themed LEGO-style set, but to be clear this set does not come with a large ship. Instead, what you get a tiny one that is to scale with the rest of the set, but not all that impressive. The port includes a lot of details though: a treasure chest with gems inside, a coconut tree, a bar counter, and what's listed as a "dove" but is surely meant to be a seagull. There's also a spinnable captain's wheel, a defensive cannon, a spyglass, and the obligatory pirate flag (again, this is waaaay bigger than the actual ship). it's a great gift for kids, just be aware it's more an accessory to an existing LEGO set for when a pirate ship is in port.

Any little boy would love this fun and interactive pirate brick building set. It is a ton of pieces! They are high quality and the build is nice and secure once completed. My son was easily able to carry it downstairs to show it off to everyone. It even has a working cannon that shoots out a little brick piece! My ten year old took his time doing a few bags at a time and finished the whole assembly independently in three days. He said the directions were clear and easy to follow. This is a nice quality set that could easily cost twice as much as it does. I would recommend it.
