The product does help, but not alone. It's important to keep bowls clean and change to a low profile bowl to make it easier for your cat to eat without their chin coming into contact with the food.

I use this product for my cats chin since he gets those little black dots of dirt. It works wonders to remove the ick, and it doesn’t bother him at all he kind of enjoys it.

I’m going to give this a 4, because I think it would work, if I could hold the cat still enough to use it. The brush tip is utterly useless in my case, and putting it on a cotton ball worked okay, once. The cat didn’t seem to particularly like the smell though, and expressed definite displeasure.

Made it worse

My cat has a very dirty chin and I recently had to pay a vet to clean out some infected acne. I was hoping that this would be an easy way to keep his chin clean so we don't have to do that again, but it's not quite as easy to use or effective as I would have liked. My cat is very tolerant, and thoroughly enjoys baths, though he does not love getting his face washed. I was hoping that this would allow me to wash his face more frequently with less hassle. As soon as I squirted some of the foam and started to work on his chin he started sneezing. He allowed me to finish the process, but his chin didn't look much cleaner and I honestly think he would have enjoyed a regular bath better. Next I tried it on my dog, who frequently has a dirty face. She also was not a fan of the smell of this cleaner. We probably will not use the rest of the bottle.

Love the design on this cat chin cleaner. It is in the perfect position to reach the chin without freaking out my kitty boy too much. He pretty much always has a dirty chin and I have tried many different wipes trying to clean it but no matter how much I wiped I could never get it clean. It was super frustrating. I saw this cleaner and thought I would give it a try and it works! My cat likes his chin scratched so it is easy to give him a few scratches with this before I apply the cleaner. The pump fills up the brush with the cleaning solution so it is seamless to go from scratching to cleaning. It took me 3 uses to get his chin totally clear but now it looks great! The brush tips are silicone so they are soft on my buddy's chin and easy to clean off after using. I see this lasting for a long time since you only need just a little bit for each use so I think it is a good value for the price. Overall this is really easy to use and really works on dirty kitty chins. Love it and would recommend.

My cat does fight me on using it because he doesn't like anything we have to do to him. This works better than the wipes I had originally bought and dries pretty quickly. He doesn't seem to have any irritation from it and it clears up his chin little by little but much quicker than the wipes did.

Has pesticides!!!! So bad for all living beings. The cause of cat acne is Bacteria on the food bowl up for stainless steel bowls!

Good as a preventative measure.. didn’t clear up acne as well as it claims

Works as intended, although the cat is not overly impressed with the process. It arrived quite quickly. Very happy.
