BestEquip Airgun PCP Pump 4500PSI High Pressure Hand Pump 3 Stage Pump Chamber PCP Air Pump

This (3 stage)pump is functional, but it takes every bit of my 175 pound weight to get to 3500 psi. I don't know if I could pump it any higher, and it's a strain on my back at this level of force. It's a solid pump for the money and makes me wonder if a 4 stage pump would be more manageable.

I had to install the gauge with some teflon tape and then the quick connector at the gun end was a little loose and leaked once it got up to 2000 psi. Once I tightened that the pump worked well. I charged my Marauder from 2100 psi to 2900 psi in a little over 4 minutes including a couple short breaks and with 85 pumps. It was a work out but very manageable for a 57 year old guy. I suppose it could be difficult if you don't have much weight to put to it. It is an excellent shoulder work out though. The outer tube was warm after but not hot and there was a little oil around the base where the outer tube bottoms out while pumping. The bad part is the horribly translated instructions that are almost worthless. As a mechanic I can sort of make them out but they try to explain how to oil the pump for maintenance but it is very unclear. There are several YouTube videos that show how to set them up and service them though so a little research will explain better.

Startup seems daunting at first, but there's nothing too difficult to figure out. It comes with extra O-rings( none of them needed for assembly) and accessories suitable for any standard hand pump. The gage fills with oil when you prime the pump and that's normal. I learned how to use it on the fly while shooting my new pcp. It works well.

This is a terrible pump. I bought it for my 3600psi air rifle because it was rated for 4500psi. It shipped with a bottle of oil that had leaked, so the pump was pre serviced. Following the instructions, I assembled the pump and checked for leaks. It worked once but didn't fill all of the way because it is only rated for 3000psi according to the instructions. Now, it will neither compress or intake air. Pulling the handle up, it begins to compress but a valve must closed because it will not pull all of the way up. On the compression stroke, it builds pressure but it goes nowhere. The gauge will read 1000psi and on compression it will climb but the air inside pushes back and the gauge goes back to 1000psi. I doubt I could use this to pump up a bicycle tire.

Purchased my first pcp air rifle and decided to start off with a High pressure hand pump. After many research and looking at people reviews, I had decided to get his one a try while in near future will most likely switch to a compressor. Upon receiving it, I decided to disassemble the pump and make sure it’s clean and had coolant. Sure enough there was no coolant at all. And found brass shavings inside the end connectors. This would have a disaster if it had clogged or tear up the o-rings if I had just assemble and used it out of the box. After assembling and adding coolant, I tested it and I can hear muffled sound coming out. It does hold pressure as I did the leak test at 2500 psi. Have yet to pump on the pcp rifle.
