The O'Neill Men's Reactor-2 3/2mm Back Zip Full Wetsuit is nothing short of amazing! It feels like wearing a warm, cozy coat while youโre in the water. This suit keeps your entire body warm and comfortable, making it perfect for extended sessions in chilly conditions. Not only does it provide excellent thermal protection, but it also offers remarkable flexibility. You can move freely and comfortably, whether you're paddling, diving, or swimming. The back zip design makes it easy to put on and take off, adding to the overall convenience. If youโre looking for a wetsuit that combines warmth with excellent mobility, this is the one to get. Itโs a fantastic investment for anyone serious about staying warm and agile in the water. Highly recommend it for its comfort and performance!

Can't wait to try this new O'Neill 3M/2M suit. Perfect fit!
The fit is perfect. The leash to zip it up is the perfect length. The cuffs at the sleeves and ankles feel like very little water if any will come in. I could already feel my body heat retention not leaving the suit so again I feel confident I won't be shivering at 25 and 30 ft depths. I will update again after my first freedive in a few weeks at Lake Ouachita at Blakely Mountain Dam. Last year's wetsuit was a Dark Lightning 3 mm and I floated like a cork. If you were snorkeling, I guess that would be a good thing as you wouldn't have to work so hard to stay on top of the water. But the drawback was two things. First, water came in at the sleeves and the ankles which I tried to avoid and yes it was cold. When you are a freediver, you want to stay warm, but you DON'T want to work yourself to death trying to swim down 15 or 20 ft. The Dark Lightning suit wore me out because when I got to the bottom of the lake, I didn't have any air left to enjoy the dive because I kicked so hard to keep from floating back up to the top. The reviews on the O'Neill state the suit is not very buoyant which will also be a big plus if indeed that is the case. Also, hopefully this year I will be making the trip to Beaver Lake to their dive park there and reviews already state the water there is much colder than most lakes in Arkansas, but much to see. Promise to update review after first successful excursion with my new O'Neill wetsuit. Just as a guide for the fit, I am 5'11 and 170 lbs. and I ordered the common M size with the perfect outcome for the fit.

Looking forward to comfortable, warm surf sessions with this suit this coming fall and winter.
Just a note on my credibility and expertise....I have longboard surfed Socal for the past 55 years and gone through dozens of wetsuits of most major brands. I am easy to please but hard to fit. I just received my O'Neill 3/2 Reactor 2 today and found the materials to be very good quality and well put together. I was a bit reluctant to order an O'Neill based on many years ago past experience of O'Neills being seemingly built for tall, slender individuals (of which I am neither,) but I couldn't pass up at this price (1/3 the cost of my current fullsuit) an opportunity to give O'Neill another chance for my future business. I am 5-10/210 lbs with a beer-barrel 45" chest and 36" waist, kinda like a '50s wrestler. I ordered an XL suit based on the sizing chart, and past experience of XLS being too restrictive. The good news is that with the new super-stretch materials the suit pulled on and off no problema. (OK Wetsox helped a bit and I highly recommend them.) It was properly snug without feeling binding, and the neck, wrists and ankles feel very watertight. It was not baggy in the arms and legs. It looks like it's gonna work fine. The bad news is (1) that the neck was pretty tight on my 18" neck, and may become uncomfortable over time; and (2) I couldn't get the zipper started up without the help of my laughing wife. (I've always thought wetsuits should come with a tab at the base of the spine to hold on to while pulling up the zipper. I often have one put on by a local suit repair.) As the water temps here drop next month I'll give the suit the 'acid test' with a few surf sessions. I'll update this review if any discrepancies are found, and how it performs.

XL short Fits perfectly for Athletic/Muscular build
Iโm 5โ8โ 190 lbs., with 46โ barrel chest and wide shoulders and back, 30โ inseam, and this suit fits perfectly in XL Short. I have a very hard time finding non-custom wetsuits that fit, so Iโm thrilled about this one. Usually when I find a one piece that fits up top, the legs are about 6โ longer than I need. I plan on using it for temperate water Scuba. Due to my wide lats I can only get the rear zipper up half way by myself due to material bunching, but the fit is not restricting at all once fully zipped with some help.

Good fit and value.
I was looking for an entry level wetsuit to water ski occasionally. Was unsure about size but finally went for a Large-Tall. It fits perfectly. For context I'm 6'1 (185cm) and 180 lb (82 kg) with a lean muscular fit. Was a bit worried it would be too long or to loose around the waist -happily that is not the case. I read in some reviews that ppl tend to go for wetsuits larger than needed. I also tried the MT and L (that friends have). The MT was a bit tighter but also fit well... I'm trying to put on some extra muscle mass which is why I went for the LT -If that's not a concern and you like a tighter fit then go for the MT. The L had shorter sleeves/legs but was also a good fit. At that point it really came down to the LT being on sale.

Zipper
I love this wetsuit but the zipper is horrible about coming open. 2nd one that this has happened. This one only lasted 2 dives

good for the money
I've had all three price range wetsuits from these guys, the $300 one, the $500 one, and now this really cheap one. For the money I say this is a good suit. It lets a little bit more water in than the more expensive ones, and the fit is just the tiniest bit loose around the thighs and lower back. I'm 5'10" and a medium build for reference. I love the back zip models for ease of getting in and out. I think in future I would probably go back to the $300 version for a better fit. All in all very good though

Awesome Wetsuit
Fits exactly as the chart specifies, easy to put on, fits well. super high quality, not stiff at all. excellent price for such a great wetsuit. Not too hot either on land, wore it in 50 degree water and was just fine. would recommend boots and gloves too if you're in anything much colder. Shipped quickly, exactly as expected. very happy with the transaction.
