These FITFIV BBQ Gloves are exactly what I was looking for. They provide excellent heat protection without feeling like I’m wearing giant, useless oven mitts. These really beautiful gloves let you handle broiler pans and anything that is extremely hot without your hands even getting warm. They are extra long and go halfway up your arm for extra protection. They go on easily and are very comfortable and flexible. So far they have stayed clean for months and I don't expect them to be difficult to launder. They are much better than previous pairs of oven and grill gloves I previously used. One warning though -- they do run small. I am an average size female and the large fits my hand snugly.

I’ve been very happy with these so far. They do exactly what I wanted them to do, which is provide real heat protection while grilling and handling hot cookware without making me feel like I’m rushing to put something down. They feel durable, fit well enough to be practical, and most importantly I haven’t felt heat coming through in normal use, which is really the whole point of buying gloves like this in the first place. My only hesitation is that I’m not totally sure yet how they’re going to hold up from a cleaning standpoint over the long term, especially if they get a lot of grease, smoke, or general grill mess on them. That’s more of an open question for me than a current complaint, because in terms of actual performance they’ve been excellent. If they end up cleaning well and holding up over time, I’d consider them an easy five-star purchase.

These gloves will protect your hands, but the fit is odd. For the price, it's a solid choice but the hand part is large and the finger part is short and narrow. I picked these up as a back-up option, but I wouldn't choose them as my main BBQing gloves.

I originally bought these for working on vehicles rather than grilling, and they’ve been a great addition to my toolbox. There are plenty of times when I’m working under the hood and need to move around components that are still warm after the engine has been running. These gloves have given me enough protection to work more comfortably while still maintaining a good grip. The silicone pattern provides excellent grip on metal parts and tools, and the gloves are flexible enough that I don’t feel like I’m fighting them while turning wrenches or repositioning parts. I also like that they extend past my wrists, giving a little extra protection when reaching into tighter engine bays. I wouldn’t recommend grabbing red-hot exhaust manifolds or holding extremely hot parts for an extended period, but for normal automotive work around warm engines, radiator hoses, heat shields, and other hot components, they’ve performed very well. After owning them for quite a while, the stitching and silicone grips have held up well with regular use, and they’re still in great condition. If you’re a DIY mechanic or enjoy working on your own vehicles, these gloves are worth having in the garage. They’ve been much more useful to me for automotive work than I ever expected.

The do what they say they’ll do. This pair has long cuffs to protect your forearms as well, which will be great for grilling or for ovens with a deeper/awkward reach. These will fit very large hands! Add that to the large cuffs and there’s a lot of material to deal with. My last pair of oven gloves lacked the cuff and were smaller which better fit my hands. This is not a knock against the product - just a note to the buyer so you can choose wisely.

Completely misrepresented product. The color shown in the listing doesn't exist. what arrived is entirely black, nothing close to what was advertised. The size runs significantly larger than expected, making precise handling awkward and unsafe. More critically: the heat resistance claim of 1472°F is outright false. These gloves struggled to hold up past a few seconds of exposure to moderate heat, far below even a fraction of what's advertised. For anyone working around open flame, grills, or forge work, this isn't just a disappointment. it's a safety hazard. Do not trust the listing. Do not trust the specs. This product fails on every material claim it makes.

These gloves do not work. My husband received a very bad burn (blistered fingers) in less than 2 seconds when he used the gloves to pick up a bbq plate. This is the first product we have ever retuned on Amazon. I suggest Amazon review advertising of this product as the incorrect description causes serious injury.
