bought this 4K dash cam for my car and I really liked it. The video quality is very clear, both during the day and at night, thanks to a special sensor called Starvis2. It records the front and rear of the car at the same time with good quality. It comes with built-in GPS that shows the car’s location and speed. It also has 4G internet, so you can view the footage on your phone from anywhere. When the car is parked, the camera keeps recording if it detects movement nearby. It’s easy to use and install. I think it’s great for improving car security. I recommend it!

First, I would like to say whatever sticky pad they use to secure this to the windshield should have an award on its own! We live in Arizona and this camera has stayed strong and not budged from its original installation spot even during our brutal summers. I was not expecting the camera quality to be this good at this price point, but boy was I wrong. These recordings are very clear! The provided memory card is enough to keeps days of recordings. You have the option to go into the app and save or download anything that you need to keep. The back camera works great for us, because we haul horses. The camera is so clear that it picks up the horses through the window of the horse trailer. When the horse trailer is not connected, the camera is able to pick up the bed of the truck and all surrounding areas. The front camera has a display where you can choose to see just the front view, just the back view, or a split screen with both! You also have multiple settings to customize the camera to your liking.

Overall, this is a decent dashcam for the price. Install instructions were adequate. I purchased a hardwire kit and will leave a separate review for that. The app install was straightforward but connecting to the camera is a little weird. If you're having issues: 1. On the cam itself, navigate through the menus to get to WiFi set up, activate the WiFi connection and take note of the password 2. On your phone, go to your WiFi settings and connect to the camera WiFi using the password provided. 3. In the App, connect to the camera with the WiFi name provided and use the password from step 1 and 2. 4. In the App, change your password and update your settings as you see fit. 4a. If you change your password, you will have to go back to step 2 and enter in the updated password and save to your settings. You will have to use steps 1-3 every time you connect to the app to check your videos and settings. It's a little cumbersome but I was able to figure it out with some fumbling. I did appreciate the fact that the camera came with extra adhesive pads, I had to move my rear camera for a better view and needed the extra adhesive.

I bought this unit for our main family vehicle because I had seen a video from one posted on a local Facebook page trying to locate a hit and run vehicle. I was so impressed with the video quality that I went looking to buy one. I installed it as soon as it arrived, and I am so impressed with how well it works. It is incredibly easy to use. I can watch video from either the front facing or rear facing cameras (or both) on the internal screen or download, watch, and save with the free companion app. It records any time the vehicle is on and has both front and rear facing cameras. It is very durable and reliable and the video quality is INCREDIBLE! I will be buying more for our other vehicles.

Just got it today and I’m honestly impressed. The front 4K camera looks super clear, and I love that it comes with the rear camera and even a 64GB SD card, so it’s ready to use right away. The build quality feels solid, not cheap at all. I tested it in my car and the video looks great. The GPS, G-sensor, and parking mode are exactly what I needed for extra safety. It’s also not too big, so it doesn’t block my view. So far, I’m really happy with this dash cam. For the price, it has way more features than others I looked at. Totally worth it!

Great dashcam. Only take me one hour to install and it included everything you need for the installation. No other tool required. It would be better if it includes few tiny adhesive wire clips for where the wire had to be exposure. Picture quality is very shape as well. Menu selections are very straight forward and you don't even need to read the manual. Some other people complain not able to connect WiFi, that because you need to manually turn on WiFi from the menu selection. You don't really need to keep the WiFi on all the times. Only when you need to check the recording or change setting. So, WiFi by default should be off at all time. Much better than the other Red Tiger brand that I got for my son's car. The Red Tiger one reboot itself once a while, I haven't see this unit doing that yet. It comes with a 32GB SD card, I wouldn't mind to pay $10 more for the price and include a 128GB SD card instead. Better than for me to throw away the 32GB and pay $20 for a new 128GB. I would recommend this to anyone looking for one. Which 2 of my friends immediately bought it before the price go back up again.

A bit of heat in hot weather is the only small draw back.

The front and rear camera quality is excellent — clear video day and night. Setup was simple, and I love that I can leave the SD card in and download videos straight from the app. Super convenient and works perfectly. Highly recommend!
