Swiss Army Knife CLIMBER, Camouflage "Swiss Army Knife"

The product is outstanding. It is a really necessary product for trekkers. I have used cheaper local variety of this product they are practically worthless product. This product has the following tools and every small tool can be actually used as they are sturdy and cleverly designed:- large blade; small blade; can opener; screwdriver 3 mm; bottle opener; screwdriver 6 mm; wire stripper; reamer, punch and sewing awl; corkscrew; scissors; multipurpose hook; toothpick;tweezers;key ring. I liked everything about the product except it's price which is in the higher end of the scale.

The product is just as it's described in product details, high quality steel and very sharp. Best for every day carry purpose

Always wanted a swiss knife. This is my first one. Very sharp tools. Quality is beyond my expectation. Performs as expected. Would recommend this to others who are interested in buying a swiss knife.

This is the model you would be probably needing for most of your use. Amazing quality..you get what you pay for.The only problem i had is to open the tool, probably oiling it a bit would help. I wish there were dedicated buttons for opening those tools.

It’s a little big for the pocket but then again, I needed the tools in this particular model. All the tools are “springy”, works well and required for me personally. The scissors really do come in handy. The keychain part is a bit small but then again that’s always the case regardless of the model.

I did a lot of research into the different types of Swiss Army knives to see which one I would use the most. I originally bought the Pioneer Alox Silver knife because I liked that its the same model that the actual Swiss Army soldiers used from the 60's up till now. This knife is almost exactly the same as the Spartan in terms of size. It's big and has two slots with tools. The Pioneer comes with a large blade, can opener with screwdriver, bottle opener with screw driver and sharp pointed edge for poking holes. I was pleased with the knife since it looks classy but I wanted something that was more useful for everyday use. I like the Spartan because its identical to the original Swiss knife, but I wanted to look further. I stumbled onto so many different models for a variety of uses. Tools such as the wood saw, pliers, magnifying glass for instance I found that I don't use everyday. Plus I found that its better to use other more sturdier tools than a knife if you want to use pliers. The more tools make these knives too bulky and not ideal for carrying everywhere. I wanted something simple, yet eclectic. I have a minichamp, which is great because it has tools like scissors, an orange peeler and a pen. But I found that I use scissors a lot. Finally, I noticed the Climber and after much comparison, I decided its the best one for ME. Why? Because its not too bulky first off. It only has 3 slots for tools, making it slightly thicker than the Spartan but not as bulky as the Explorer. It has scissors which are perfect in size. It's essentially like the Spartan but with the added scissors and parcel carrier(which I find to be useless for most cases). And honestly this is all you need unless you need to cut wood or watch insects from up close with a magnifying glass. This is perfect for the urban gentleman. Some would prefer the Tinker because they find the separate philips screwdriver more useful than the corkscrew. Well fear not because the can opener, which comes on almost all swiss knives, has a screwdriver at the tip that's perfect for even the smallest Philips heads. The the extra room for a large philips screwdriver is useless because you already have a tool for that. Plus the corkscrew is useful in party type situations. So pick this over the Tinker. For those who want something more compact, try out the Compact model. This knife has only two slots but has almost everything including scissors. However, this knife consolidates the can opener and bottle opener. The catch? The tool is very thin and the tip isn't good for Philips screws, only good for flat heads. Also, there is no small blade. For those who don't care for the corkscrew or scissors, get the Pioneer. Why? Because its essentially the same model used by Swiss soldiers and it looks classy. Additionally, the large blade is much bigger than the large blade of regular swiss knives. But I recommend the Climber 100%. You even have more color options to choose from with this model. I would go with the classic red, that way everyone knows you're holding an awesome Swiss Army Knife. Happy shopping!

This is my 4th Victorinox knife. This one is replacing my 7 year old "Spartan" version. I carried it almost every day for those years. I can with absolute confidence say that Victorinox makes the best jackknife out there. They're incredibly durable, easy to sharpen, and so handy to have. My reason for upgrading is to have the scissors. Countless times they would have come in handy with my old knife, and so far I've used them quite a bit on my new one! All the blades are incredibly sharp. It takes no effort at all to slide through boxes. I was concerned that it would be a lot thicker than my old knife, but I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't feel more noticeable in my pocket. It's about 1/8th of an inch thicker, so if you're debating on this and a thinner knife, I would recommend this one. Many more features, still nice and thin, and it's not too expensive! If you want a knife to carry every day for decades to come, buy this one. *Note that my pictures make the knife look like it's lighter in colour. It's actually a deeper red like a poppy.*
