It’s crazy how much lint dryers throw out, even with a lint catcher. I love that this box has two grates to intercept and catch it, and the window allows you to easily monitor how much lint there is. The latch door makes it easy to quickly open and pull out the lint. I’m finding that I need to clean it about every other load. But it’s so easy to do, it kind of just becomes part of the routine. Very easy to install. It can make a rattle sound, as the air is suctioned through, but it’s not horrible.

This lint trap really catches a lot of lint from our clothes dryer before it goes into the vent to the outdoors. It was easy to install, and it is easy to open the door, inspect the trap, and clean it. Our dryer hose is level to the floor, so I leave the trap on the floor and did not need to attach it to the wall. This will save us a lot of trouble with lint blocking the exit to the outdoors. This is a really good product.

I didn't realize how much lint goes into the dryer vent until I installed this lint trap. It works great with my Fantech booster fan.Additional review after 5 months of use:I realized that more lint is pulled from dryer because of the booster fan. I have to make frequent tris to garage in order to remove the lint. I'd have gotten a bigger lint trap if I knew.

Product arrived on time and works as advertised. The product is well made. Easy to clean.

Easy install. Feel safer now. Our laundry room is located in the center of the house which makes for a dangerous route for the dryer vent. Now we are able to trap and remove lint before it gets trapped in piping which snakes up wall, across the attic, and out the roof vent.

Serves is purpose.2 design flaws:1. The 4” duct openings are slightly less than 4” causing ductwork to crimp when tightened with clamp.2. The 4” duct openings and the door latch are inline with each other making it impossible to recess the box into drywall.

I found it easy to install, easy to clean the lint from the filters. It works perfectly for me.
