C4000LZ xDSL Gigabit 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WiFi Modem Router Compatible with Centurylink (Renewed)

Love it works great and value for price. Wished I would of bought extra ones.

Work from home and constantly lost connection; continually had to reboot modem. Would not maintain reliable connection to Webex and could not make/receive phone calls via the soft phone nor send/receive messages. Have since switched to high-speed fiber internet and no longer need a modem.

I had CenturyLink check it, it would not connect, never got past the red light. The hours I spent with CenturyLink thinking it was something I was doing wrong and now I still have a lease modem

We purchased a Century Link C4000LZ modem from Century Link for $200 to update from our C3000Z modem that we were renting from Century Link (they are our WiFi provider). The C3000Zwas going bad and we decided to purchase the C4000LZ as we were planning to upgrade our TV and did not want any WiFi problems. The first red flag was being told by Century Link that the C4000LZ was refurbished, and a new one was almost impossible to find. We hooked up the refurbished modem and did all the set up procedures but it did not work. After working with 3 different Century Link phone technicians for over 4 hours to no avail, they sent out a Century Link repair technician who could not get it to work. He tried another refurbished Century Link C4000LZ modem he had on his repair truck and it did not work either. He finally went back to his truck and brought in a brand new (impossible to find) C4000LG modem. and after the repair technician hooked and set up the brand new, not refurbished Century Link C4000LG it worked. Imagine that!!! The brand new not refurbished Century Link C4000LG worked after 2 refurbished Century Link C4000LZ modems would not work after the repair technician worked on both of them for over 2 hours.
