Bearings fall out. They four bores for the bearings are 0.050 oversized. Ball bearings are supposed to be tight tolerance fit. That’s one star. The bracket is much too wide for the link since the loose bearings migrate out of place, so I’ll be adding a shim washer inside the bracket so the bearings don’t migrate out of place. That’s another star. As others have pointed out the lag bolts have been an issue so I picked up some from the big box store. I wanted longer lags to be sure it’s not going anywhere. While there I also picked up a nyloc nut since the free running nut has also caused issues for other reviewers. A lock washer would have worked also. Another star. On a positive note the 12mm bolt was changed from a fully threaded bolt to a partially threaded bolt since that’s the proper hardware for this application. I’ll give ya a stat back for that.

Worked and installed easily.

While this product is finished well and looks good, they do not include a locking nut on the pivot bolt. This is an obvious requirement in my opinion. The most frustrating about this swing hanger is you must take it apart to install it, the pivot bolt obstructs the mounting bolts in a way that a socket cannot be used tighten the mount bolts. I would classify these as light duty, as they are made of an aluminum alloy of some sort. This is the second shipment because the first one was delivered as an empty envelope....very poorly packaged. The one I did receive was just about ready to fall out of the package. Terrible packaging.

Used to hang a swing inside the house for my child with special needs. While that certainly does the job, and it's rated for far more weight than we will ever need it for, installation was a bit of a trick. The middle bolt that holds the two pieces together (black bolt) gets in the way when using an impact gun to screw this into the solid surface which you're using to support the swing. 3/4 screws went in straight, the other took a lot of effort because the inside face of the bolt just got in the way.

Used these to mount a porch swing. Wanted something that I wouldn’t have to worry about after installation and these ABUSA swing hangers were just what I needed. Well made aluminum brackets with two roller bearings in each bracket for the pivot point. The provided stickers for alignment of the mounting holes was a great plus! I just aligned the stickers where I wanted to mount the brackets and stuck them to the surface and drilled the holes. Left the stickers on and covered them with the bracket.
