Unisex-Adult High Tech Nano Protector Shoe Treatments & Polishes

I've previously chosen applicator styles of waterproofing, which worked well to a degree but were a complete faff to apply. Most of these applicator brands instruct you to wet the shoes before applying. I wasn't happy with a competitor applicator brand is been using (and the fact that I'd ended up with water marks on some nice suede boots from it), so I read around for a few days before deciding to try this. The decision was a combination of being an acceptable price and good reviews both on Amazon and when I googled the product. This spray is so much easier to apply, and the results are superb, it genuinely waterproofs the fabric of the shoe or boot. I've used it on some padded nylon boots, some suede boots, a pair of leather trainers and some mixed composition walking boots. All now tested out in snow and rain, with commendable results. I can't comment on how long an application lasts, but going by other reviewers I expect to need to reapply sometime in spring. A can does seem to contain a few applications though, so it's relatively economical over time. There was no apparent change in colour or staining across any of the footwear on application. It took between 30-45 minutes for the footwear to feel dry. Once waterproofed, water rolls off the footwear. It's impressive to watch! It's worth mentioning, as both the listing and other reviews have pointed out, that this stuff is seriously solvent based and you really do need to apply it in a well ventilated area - I went outside to do it and brought the footwear back into the house after spraying. Even so, there was a strong solvent smell as the footwear dried. I'm sold on this product from application through to performance. I will be buying it in future, it's much better than my previous footwear waterproofing brands.

I'm always a bit wary of new proofing products, but thought I'd give this one a try as I had 2 pairs of suede shoes and snow boots to protect. If it didn't work I could always go back to the one I have used before. but, from now on I shall always use this product. It really does what it says on the tin ! I gave all my items 2 separate sprays following reading the previous reviews. I then, heart in mouth, poured a glass full of water over each shoe in turn and the water simply beaded off immediately. There was no staining and the only way one can tell they've been treated is to pour water on them. I've had the spray for a few months and have worn my shoes come rain or shine. I live in a farm cottage and there is often mud and muck on the road from the tractors, but even these can't stain the treated shoes. This is a wonderful remedy for footwear in all weather and surface conditions. Don't hesitate to buy it. In my opinion it's the best 'proofer' on the market.

I would've liked it if this spray was around half the price of what I got it for, but at least the bottle is slightly larger than what the rest offer. Regarding waterproofing, I sprayed my trainers and although walking in the rain was fine, I got some water in my shoe when I stepped on a tile on the road, which pushed water up in the air and I went through that floating water with my other shoe. I know that it's a weird description of what happened, but I'm sure this has happened to most people at least once. So, normal water flow won't go in your waterproofed shoe, but I guess if it's a lot of water and the force is greater, it will go through your shoe. I went abroad for a couple of weeks and didn't get a lot of dirt on my shoes. I would recommend getting a Crep shoe cleaner, letting the shoes dry and then waterproofing them. Unfortunately, I did that for my girlfriend's shoes and she still ended up getting some dirt on the front of her shoes, I have no idea how that happened, but I guess sometimes it protects well, and sometimes it doesn't. I would also recommend spraying this outside, or on a window, because the amount you use makes the whole place smell. It's not a bad smell, it's just that it's definitely bad for you to breathe it in. Overall, this is a good purchase, but I would definitely recommend going to eBay and purchasing a pack of 4 spray bottles for roughly the same price as this one (I think around 3 times more spray though - 1.2L vs 400ml). It works well for waterproofing your shoes, and the good thing is that it also protects your white shoes from a lot of dust and dirt.

It's not often that a product is so good I feel compelled to write a review but in this case it is exactly that. Tarrago Nano Protector is astonishingly GOOD. If you're sitting reading product reviews for spray protector then like me you are no doubt worried about your precious shoes (for me it was shoes but this product can be used on jackets, coats, rucksacks and probably just about anything you care to mention) being destroyed by the elements of day to day life. Rain, snow, mud, spilled drinks, vomit, blood... The list goes on. Whatever your daily life involve your shoes are almost certainly at risk of being forever ruined by one/some/all of the above BUT, NOT WITH TARRAGO NANO PROTECTOR APPLIED! Initially I was sceptical about this product's abilities (having tried various incarnations of spray protector over the years and having found none that actually worked) but I decided I'd give it a go. It seemed to posses the appropriate number of positive reviews, enough to at least get my hopes up. So, I ordered myself some Tarrago Nano Protector and when it arrived I gave two pairs of my beloved shoes a good dousing, while doing my best not to be carried off to the 'magic roundabout' or wherever by the intoxicating fumes. I'd advise spraying in a well ventilated area or outdoors and not in a small confined space like I did. I fear I may have shaved several years off of my life... Anyway, after an hour of intense hallucinations I finally returned to what seemed to be reality and came to the conclusion that the spray protector would probably have dried in by now. Armed with an espresso cup full of water I set about my attack, flicking and pouring small amounts of water directly onto each pair of shoes. Unbelievably the water either bounced straight off or beaded down the sides of the shoes and away leaving them clean, dry and not even slightly water damaged. Incredible! I was startled. I'd finally found the spray protector that I'd been dreaming of all these empty years and it came with the added bonus of a whole hours worth of intensely realistic nightmarish visions while, I'm sure depriving me of my future old age! :D Superb value for money. Ten out of ten! Five stars! Twenty terrifying mutated monkey rabbits and a shortened life! BUY IT NOW! You won't regret it. :-)

Arrived on time and reasonably packaged. As for the product not overly impressed, I applied as per instructions on the can didn't use treated footwear for 24 hours walked through wet grass and they got wet around toe area,footwear is gortex lined so feet obviously remained dry. Used on nubuck leather and suede. Used several different products and this one has not impressed, so far I've found cherry blossom she protect to work better this is my opinion due to experience

This is the best protective spray ever. I do a lot of hiking and climbing in all weathers. I am generally covered in mud. I initially used two thin layers of this spray on some new light coloured nubuck & textile walking boots and ended up ankle deep in mud for approximately half a mile. Arriving back home I was sad as I acknowledged that I had already ruined my new boots. I scraped off the large chunks of mud, and left the rest to dry on the boots. Next day the caked on mud had dried on the boots...which look very sad. Armed with a medium to soft brush I began what I perceived would be a very arduous task. My heart was filled with joy and relief as "all" the mud came off very easily. I then took the vacuum with the soft brush dusting attachment and removed any residue. My boots were like new again. I also sprayed it around the bottom of my trousers and had the same results. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT

Bought as an alternative to compare with one I've been using. Good effective product to waterproof shoes and sneakers. Lesser smelly while applying the product. Overall easy to use and fair price for what it's intended for.

Used to make two new pairs of mesh trainers more resistant to water. The spray is simple to use, and has only a slight, transient whiff of solvent. Even the slightest breeze makes it impossible to direct the spray to where it's needed, so instead I used a dust sheet indoors. I applied two coats on consecutive days, having removed the laces first. Walking through long, wet grass doesn't get my feet wet now, which is all I wanted. The "lotus effect" seems more like advertising hype, my trainers still get muddy (although they are easy to wipe clean). Enough product in the can for two coats on at least three pairs of shoes. Pretty good value for money.

Super product! Wasn’t sure that it was gonna work but it did. I sprayed 3 of my pairs and still have enough for some. Although some spots weren’t waterproof probably cause i didn’t sprayed it right. But all in all pretty good!
