Birkenstock Women's Sydney Birko-Flor Sandals

This is my 3rd pair of these Birkenstock. They fit well, love the look, very comfortable, easy to walk in, very good support, with adjustable straps. This is by far my favorite color. Will repurchase.

Perfect fit. Wear an 8 1\2. Ordered size 39N Amazed at the glove fit. For anyone with flat flexible feet whose toes spread (genetic defect), Berkinstocks are the ideal fit. My feet look wide barefooted but M medium shoes are either too wide or become too big afyer wear. Being able to tighten the two strap sandal is the BIG PLUS, Infact had to tighten up to the last hole to avoid a loose fit. I've admired this brand for many many years but having had to wear correctional Oxford as a child the thought of a heavy LOOKING shoe always stopped me from purchasing Berkinstocks. I've tried them on every year since being advised they'd be comfortable for my type feet which has affected my back, hip and knees. Looking down at my feet made feet look bigger plus they felt hard. I've always been so picky about shoes LOOKING GOOD on these feet, I'd put them back and buy the latest style in leather and suede. As I said I've always admired others who wear them. The shoe spells expensive taste, however I'd buy 4 or 5 pair of another brand which ended up in closet by end of seasons. I couldn't wait until end of day to put on a pair of the dozens of house slippers. Taking off work, causal or dress shoes occuppied my mind all day or night. For anyone with flat flexible feet NOTICE everyone's feet, toes and shoes know this feeling. Seeing BERKINSTOCK wearers looking so comfortable, relaxed and confident has always awed me. Still I refused to spend $140. 00 to experiment with another brand. Bought them for my children because THEY WERE "THE IN SHOE" everyone was wearing didn't justify buying myself a pair. My daughters didn't inherit my feet. I assumed was why they'd wear The Berkinstock completely out and wanted every style.Online shopping especially with AMAZON gave me the opportunity since retirement to read reviews plus research shoes. Thanks to the thousands who give Berkinstocks 5 Stars, I decided to order a pair, after measuring my feet. I knew from the many years of trying them on I would need a 39N (8 1/2). I chose the Velvet Gray suede. Due to this color being so popular I waited for restocking.They arrived 2 days after order. Honestly I was expecting to be disappointed. To my greatly appreciated amazement they fit perfect, as I described above. Due to having always being disappointed with how a shoe felt, I honestly intimidated these fit TOO WELL. Sounds silly, but if you knew how many thousands of shoes I've thrown money away on you'd understand exactly what I mean. Now that I live on a fixed income $140.00 isn't chump change to me it's important and a nessicity for every dollar to stretch. My point being, had I purchased the Berkinstocks years ago, I could've and would've saved thousands of $$$$$ on shoes and house slippers alone. Having more time to read reviews truly contributes to buying wisely, plus AMAZON has an amazing staff in Customer Service whenever I need to return an item. I no longer put things I can't use in the closet or give it away, I simply return and reorder. Their SHIPPING DEPT. is amazing as well, therefore waiting 2 days for a purchase to be delivered at my door truly is a time saver. I absolutely love Online shopping for this reason, plus no pressure from salespeople or having to go all over town shopping, then bring them in. Being able to try things out in home gives one more time to decide how it looks or fit.I recommend Berkinstocks for anyone not only for comfort, go anywhere shoes, but SAVE $$$. These are my daughter’s second pair of the exact shoe. She loves these shoes, cause they’re super comfortable and they fit perfect. They have great arch support and very very durable. She talks about how comfortable these sandals are and how easy they are to walk in.

It was good but over size so I have to return it back.

I'm a fan of Birkenstock to begin with but this is my first pair made with EVA. It's a very lightweight man-made material that feels a little like crocks but less squishy, cushioning but more firm, texture is smooth and soft on the skin. I haven't worn them yet for any extensive length of time but out of the box the quality, style, feel and fit is great - as expected from Birkenstock! I normally wear a size 7.5 or 8 in women's or a "big kid" 6.5 in sneakers and the size 38 in Birkenstock are perfect for me. The listing says women's "Toe Post Sandals Flip Flops" but the actual name of this style is Gizeh and they are authentic. I was a little confused by the sellers listing because they mix the various materials available all in one listing. So, unless you know what you are buying you might not get the material you expected. I'll do my best to explain the materials (but you might want to go to the official website for detailed info). Birkenstock makes the Gizeh in a natural leather upper with a cork sole (most expensive), the Birko-Flor which is a man-made upper and a cork sole (mid-price), and the EVA in which the upper/lining/sole is one-piece molded Ethylene Vinyl Acetate aka EVA (lowest cost). Not only is this a great option in terms of cost but it's also something that you can get wet and still wear comfortably as they are waterproof and washable. It's made of a "high-quality, very light, elastic material with very good cushioning". This EVA material is a great option for a kids summer sandal since they're affordable waterproof. But also for adults as they have a high quality look (they don't look cheap at all like most man-made materials do) and can be worn with a dress or as house shoes. I highly recommend!

I purchased these in the Graceful Antique Lace color. On my monitor, the color of the shoe looks like a shimmery creamy-white. In person, the shoe is a shimmery creamy-beige color. Not tan, not white... creamy beige. Another review mentioned this and I have to agree. It is still a neutral color and not brown, so it goes with everything. Just don't be surprised when you take them out of the box like I was! The toe post is great compared to the hard, plastic toe post of the Birkenstock Gizeh. I have to get used to the Gizeh toe post every season when I first pull them out of my closet. The Mayari toe post is soft and not noticeable at all, to me, as I don't have a problem with thong sandals in general (except for the plastic toe post of the Gizeh!) The comfort is very good for my right foot, but I am having difficulty with the left foot, in the ball of the foot, near the middle. This is my problem area and I am hoping as my foot molds to the foot bed, the uncomfortable feeling will disappear. Something else I hope will disappear is the sound of air whooshing from under my foot where it meets the sole of the shoe as I walk! I did a search on this problem and I'm not the only one who has had a problem with pockets of air gushing out while walking. This is also not the first pair of shoes this has happened to me with, but these are very expensive and I'm hoping the noise goes away as my foot molds to the foot bed. Otherwise, major disappointment on my end... Not a cool sound to have to walk around with if you know what I mean... :( I measure as an exact size 7 1/2 and usually prefer to wear a size 8 (especially in closed toe shoes). I ordered the EU 38 and it fit perfectly. This is the size I wear in Birkenstocks. I have purchased the size 39 before (my first pair) in a closed-toe clog and virtually SWAM in them. The Mayari is very cute on the foot and looks better, to me, than the regular Birkenstock slide (I think it's called the Arizona, but I don't have that one) that you see on everyone. The Gizeh Birkenstock is more sexy-looking, to me, and I prefer the look of it. It's a gorgeous shoe (the Gizeh), whereas the Mayari is cute. But for the hard, plastic toe post, the Gizeh would be perfect. That's why I thought I'd try the Mayari out and in that respect (toe post), the Mayari wins hands-down. Also, I believe the Mayari has good arch support, but not terribly high. I have Vionic (Tide with sequins) flip flops that I adore and the arches are VERY high. I wear Vionics to correct my sore feet and get them ready for whatever other shoes I want to wear. It's so hard to find good, supportive footwear and I know everyone's feet are different, but I hope this review helps you to make your decision! Mayari is a very nice shoe over-all- as long as the whooshing air sounds goes away... :)

they are incredibly adjustable and fit my feet (I have rather thick and wide feet). theyre incredibly comfortable and work great!!!! theyre stiff shoes, which is why my doctor recommended them to me. but they're amazing in that regard!!! very worth the money as any shoe from this brand. they've lasted a long time as well, ive been using them at least a year and theyre barely showing any wear.

Ces chaussures sont parfaites, très confortables, et comme d'habitude il faut prendre une pointure en dessous de sa pointure habituelle (Si on chausse du 38 il faut choisir 37). Ce qui est particulièrement appréciable c'est de payer 30% de moins que le prix habituel, car ces chaussures sont notées comme étant "d'occasion" par Amazon Warehouse, alors qu'elles sont parfaitement neuves, les semelles le prouvent. Je suis ravie de cet achat.

Perfetti come tutti i birkenstock..ogni anno uno nuovo ma non perché si rompano..solo x averne uno di colore o forma diversa😉un consiglio io indosso 36/37 ma ho la pianta larga , questi li tengo anche se avanzano un.pezzettino dietro se questa caratteristica vi da noia un numero in meno fa al caso vostro

Ho già delle ciabatte Birkenstock, quindi conoscevo il mio numero. Io ho il 36, per alcune marche il 37. Per queste scarpe sto bella comoda (intendo leggermente grandi) con il 36. Quindi se uno ha il piede a metà tra due numeri, scelga quello più piccolo. Per il resto... Niente da dire. Perfette. Mi avevano detto che i modelli con i lacci all'alluce potevano far male, invece ieri appena arrivati li ho tenuti tutto il giorno, in casa e fuori, e sono comodissimi. Credo che useró solo questi per tutta l'estate. Ah, arrivati prestissimo anche in tempo di covid.
