Good and natural way for colouring your hair.
Was sceptical looking at previous reviews and decided to try it and then give a feedback. In order to get best results, first colour the hair with henna- coffee mixture . The hair turns orange brown. Then, just before using the indigo powder, mix indigo powder with amla and leave it for about an hour before applying it on the head. Hairs turn jet black in colour. But, remember not to use shampoo or soap on your hair for 3-5 days. Shikakai can be used as an alternative to wash hair. You can even apply oil on hair if required. After 3-5 days you can follow your normal routine. Hair is permanently coloured. The Grey's you see will be the new growth of hair- near the scalp. My experience is that using indigo a day after henna colouring works well.Very helpful as you will not get additional grey hair like when we use the chemical dyes and hair becomes more smooth and manageable. I have hip length hair and one pack is actually excessive for my hair. So mix as required.Good even for people who are allergic to chemicals , pregnant women and in general all because chemical colours are known for slow balding.

Very useful! Makes you hair very naturally black.
I was recommended this product by a friend of mine and here are my thoughts:Its a great product(its natural, just in case) if you use it properly. If you have lots of grey hair, you're going to love your hair after using it. The texture of your hair will also improve and you'll find them immensely beautiful. Its the kind of product that doesn't fade away, the only grey hair you'll see again are the ones that grow beneath. And this product will help you for at least a month (sometimes a month and a half) before reusing it.How to use? This is the only CON of this product because the process is very time consuming.First-I apply the natural henna mehndi and put it for 2-3 hours (depending upon the length of your hair)Then after the wash, apply Hennaveda natural indigo powder (instructions are given in the packet) and leave it for 3 hours at least for a great black color.P.S.- it works like magic. Like you didn't have grey hair all your life:

Disappointed
I had been buying this powder for some time but last time I bought in June 2024, the quality was so poor. Firstly, it doesn't give black colour as it used to. Secondly, 50% colour washes away after first shampoo. I have to colour my hair every other week. I am so disappointed, the price has gone up but quality has gone SO bad. I will not buy this again.

Excellent product
I've been using Hennaveda indigo powder for over a year now. It is of excellent quality and I've not faced any issues using it. Will recommend it to anyone looking to colour their hair using natural ingredients. Great in summer as it cools the scalp, tougher to apply and sit for two hours in winter but if you want to use natural hair colouring and avoid chemicals, you'll have to suffer that tiny little bit. But the end result is worth it.Soak henna for 2-3 hours in an iron bowl, then add on Hennaveda indigo as per the colour intensity you're looking to get. Leave it for an hour and then apply on the hair. Keep it on for a minimum of 2 hours and wash off with water. Skip shampooing your hair for one more day if possible, then oil it nicely overnight and wash off with a mild shampoo next morning. The colour will deepen over a two week period if you oil and shampoo 2-3 times a week. Then it'll slowly start fading.Indigo mixed with henna will give a deep reddish to brown tint to the grey hair which looks far better than the orange colour that often comes with using plain henna.Do remember that henna and indigo together make hair dry-ish so oil regularly.
