So I purchased two 600sqft kits with flake. Epoxy kits showed up quick with good notes and heads up from spartan. Had to wait over the month to put the epoxy down cause of the new build and wait time for the concrete to cure. Put the epoxy on the floors yesterday and everything turned out great so far. Don’t know about longevity yet but that will be another review down the road. There was an issue with the epoxy thought in the kits. Two of the one gallon epoxy was different colors. But could not really tell till we put it in the floor next to the other stuff already installed. Contacted spartan, customer services is overwhelming, they are taking care of the problem. Would definitely buy and do business with spartan because of the products and customer service. Customer service was amazing.

The primer mix was old and lumpy wasted 1000$. Home Depot save the day with their mix. Update the top coat was wrong also and only quarter of the way filled. I end up finding the project with all Home Depot material I guess a lot has changed with this company because the product I received was not up to par with price. When I reached out to the company they blamed me even thought I have done several expoxy decks on navy ships. Thank you spartan for allowing me to donate to you business for nothing.

Let me start by saying, Im a DYI guy, not a professional. That being said, I am obsessed with achieving a quality result. I have done a couple epoxy floors in my time and this was hands down, the most detailed kit I have ever used. They think of everything. They make you feel like a professional. I ran into a slight issue. Being a little obsessive and compulsive, I like to make sure I have all the information possible. To ensure I achieved the best result, doing the product justice, I reached out to Spartan Epoxies to ask some questions, letting all my amateur abilities shine bright. Within hours, Bryan, one of the technical consultants was in contact with me. Unphased by constant amateur questions. He confirmed which product I had, and went through the process step by step. He gave me tips and tricks, and helped build my confidence in thinking I could do it! He was right, following his recommendations, prepping the concrete correct prior, the result turned out better than I could have imagined. Along with my kit, I purchased an extra 20lbs box of flake. I wanted that really well covered flake look. Something I didnt do with previous install jobs. I walked around in my spiked shoes, fed the chickens as Bryan suggested and let everything dry. The following morning, I mixed together the Versatek top coat clear and rolled it on. If you havent done a clear top coat on your epoxy floor in the past, like me, you've been missing out. I couldnt be happier with end result. To some it all up, I am incredibly happy. What shined above the detailed quality kit, was the AWESOME customer service. Working with a company that truly stands behind what they sell. My plan was to tackle the project over the long holiday weekend. Bryan their tech, let me know he was there to answer any questions I had through the process, no matter what day it was. They didnt just say it, they did it. Bravo to standing out from other companies in today's lifeless world and helping us DYI guys feel like we can do. I highly recommend this kit, but above all else, I highly recommend giving yourself the opportunity to work with Spartan Epoxies. Thank you team for setting the standard. I will let my results speak for itself.

If you are buying this product then you are DIY competent. You should watch every YouTube video available before buying/starting. 1. In addition you will need to buy concrete etcher to thoroughly strip clean your concrete surface. 2. This kit does NOT come with a paint primer! 3. This kit does NOT come with instructions. 4. If you are still reading then this is a good DIY kit but you’ll have to figure out the process for yourself. I tried to do everything like I had watched in 10+ videos and ended up with a couple of minor flaws in the final product. 5. If you want the floor shiny then don’t apply the anti slip “sand”. 6. Cure time is 5-9 days before parking on it and I aired on the side of caution at 9 days. Overall I feel like this is a good product but time will tell.

I will start this by saying this is not a big box brand company. This stuff is amazing industrial grade epoxy. I had an issue with application. I contacted the seller Spartan epoxies and Brian sent me out a replacement kit free of charge!!!! Not many companies like this anymore. If you’re thinking about doing floor epoxy, I would highly recommend purchasing materials from this company. They stand behind their product and are more than willing to solve any issues you may have during application.

Well worth the purchase. From a local USA based company. Good quality epoxy kit worked well installed easily with supplied equipment My only complaint would be with the shoe spikes. Had to duct tape them on as the straps kept coming loose.

I wanted to share my thoughts on a this product that may not meet expectations. If you're considering investing in this product, I would advise caution. It seems to be a waste of resources. 💔 And they will not refund your money back!

I purchased this kit just before Thanksgiving. I had questions over the following weekend and got a service technician at home. He went above and beyond to help me. Including his wife looking up to find where my missing tools were. My wife and I, the following week, epoxied my 2 car garage floor. It turned out great. I had never epoxied a floor before.
