I couldn't ask for a better bag for keeping my laptop safe!
This is the best backpack you will ever come across! I am not paid to say this and I am not biased as I try to be objective about everything I review. This backpack is perfect for keeping your laptop safe, not only while travelling or working, but even when not in use! I store my laptop along with a lap tray, portable monitor, power cords, accessories, cleaning supplies for electronics, little mobile printer, portable scanner, and tons of other stuff. No matter how much I stuff in the backpack, it always seems to stay portable and just the right size! The laptop compartment is well padded and there are tons of places to store stuff like portable monitors, tables, etc. The straps are extremely comfortable on my back. I was in a vehicle accident a few years ago and needed emergency spinal fusion surgery. This backpack is so comfortable on my back, no matter what is in it or what it weighs! I am not positive how Osprey has managed to do this, but the weight is so evenly distributed across my body that the pack feels as if it weighs nothing on my back, even when loaded down. There is an easy way to prove this concept as well. Pick up the pack when loaded by the top handle and feel the weight, then throw if on your back and notice the difference! There are so many compartments, and even a padded and felted compartment for delicate items like cellphones. The mesh pocket in the front is extremely durable as well. Mine was accidentally caught on the frame of the car seat, where the seat moves on the metal rail to go back and forth, and the pocket never stretched or tore once removed. Beyond the perfect functionality, the pack has a really nice design and color choice to it. This has been my baby and my full time backpack for travel, work, school, and anything else! There is a reason why Osprey packs cost what they do (which is still a fair price); you really do get that quality and care put into each bag!

Love Love As A College Student
Just got this, so I can’t say much about long-term use yet, but I will say it’s already very convenient. Starting off, the little mesh pocket in the front is perfect for lab coats, goggles, or any small accessories. I’m currently using it to hold sunscreen, moisturizers, cleansing wipes, and a lens cleaner. The top pocket is great for keeping wires like chargers organized. The first main compartment is perfect for pencil bags, calculators, and any stationery items. The third compartment surprised me it has three separate padded pockets for electronics: one for a larger laptop, a slightly smaller one, and a third that’s perfect for an iPad. There’s also plenty of space for notebooks and small textbooks, which makes it ideal for college students. The overall quality is really nice. I love the sturdy material on the back panel it sits flat against your back, and the clips inside help keep everything in place so the backpack isn’t bouncing around while you’re walking. It’s also a lot cheaper than other backpacks I was looking at. However, I will say this may not be the best choice if you carry a lot of large, thick textbooks. If you’re like me and prefer using electronics like an iPad and only carry a few notebooks or smaller textbooks, it’s perfect. But if you need to carry multiple heavy textbooks, you might find the space a bit limiting.

Perfect for business trips.
I primarily use this to travel for work, and I have never had such a great bag for dragging with me on a flight. The laptop compartment is well padded, and the back of the bag is both rigid but comfortable, and well ventilated. I don't have to worry about this getting squashed or bumped around. The strap fit is adjustable, and the bag is also somewhat expandible (fully by unclipping or adjustable) with clips at the sides. This both provides support for the contents or you can adjust if you've got a lot of stuff jammed in there along with your lap top. As a paranoid flyer, I know I can fit my laptop, iPad (fits perfectly in the extra sleeve outside the laptop compartment, cool feature!) an extra outfit, anything I could ever need to charge, a book, snacks, and sometimes those last minute souvenirs at the airport. It fits well under the seat in front of me while flying. The bag, while empty is light weight and easy to stow. I picked up my bag in night shift blue, and it's a lovely rich dark blue. I have nothing but good things to say about this sturdy travel bag, and I'm terribly picky.

great build quality, can fit 17" laptop
This is a great bag that is able to accommodate a 17 inch laptop while maintaining a sleek look. Other bags that do this are often bulky and have little to no style. The main pocket has enough room for two large text books and one small notebook. The front pocket has plenty of organization and goes all the way to the bottom and its own dimension so it has plenty of room. Front top pocket is good for sunglasses/pens/EDC. Buckles on the sides help sinch the bag down to help the bag look slimmer. Water bottle holders on both sides can comfortably fit up to a 40oz nalgene. Were this bag really shines over others is its straps and back. The back has a foam pad surrounded by mesh, the straps are filled with a similar foam. This foam makes carrying large loads easy. The material feels great and has held up well. Zippers are top quality and have convenient finger pulls; main zipper is nice and large. Osprey offers a great warranty. This is one of the few bags I consider to be near perfect; great for both daily use and travel.

Great work backpack
This backpack is great. Lots of great storage options. The zippers all feel sturdy & durable. I don’t carry a laptop but the padding on the back feels like it’d do a good job protecting it. It’s not too small, not too big, it’s just the right size.

2 moths review
After two months of use, I can say this is a really good backpack with just a small flaw: the lack of a chest strap makes it a bit uncomfortable when fully loaded and heavy. That said, it’s an excellent backpack for university and everyday use. I’ve even used it for short 3–4 day trips and didn’t need any extra bags.

A winner in all the right ways
I have so many commute bags. The Bellroy 30L was close to being a fave for its interior design, but it sits weird on my back visually and the straps will take any opportunity to slide off my shoulders or loosen out. I have a Topo 20L that's awesome for light carry and a daily wear, probably my #2, but it's too small for gym clothes and shoes. This Osprey threads the needle perfectly with a nice sit on my back, cooling channel, super useful stretchy material on sides for cups and front for stuffing shoes or snacks. It has a few minimal zippered interiors with just enough separators to hold tech, clothes, snacks and food, pens, notebooks, glasses, earbuds, cords, a full size Apple Air keyboard, full size mouse, etc without getting overly zippered and adding bulk. The olive green color is lowkey for the city without looking survivalist but more flair than pure black which I have plenty of already. I really like the 3D-formed zipper handles and key holder location too. I would not be afraid to take my laptop in the rain with this bag.

5 Stars - Excellent Product
I bought this for my 19 year old college student and now I'll be buying one for myself. I had no idea they made backpacks this nice. It is worth the price tag. It looks great, it's comfortable for long hours (has actual back support built in), More than enough pockets and compartments. This is a true 5 star product. Highly recommend.

So Versatile
This is such a great, versatile bag. Unique in appearance and with various handy pockets and large bottle pockets each side. Very robust as you would expect from Osprey.

Very functional commuter backpack
I've used this bag just over a year now for commuting to work. I got it in the black for low profile. I was comparing it to the Lululemon double-zip backpack which is usually a popular commuter work bag but around the same price point I found this way more functional. (note if you usually carry a large laptop it is a bit inconvenient to pull it out often) It had ample room for a soft cooler with my lunch, gym shoes and a change of clothes and I also stuffed an EDC crossbody bag in there as well for when I didn't want to lug the backpack around during breaks. I like a handsfree commute and this works perfectly. The winning feature is the water bottle pockets and the front stash pocket for even more room. If you have back problems this is definitely worth it. *I took off a star because it definitely has room for improvement in terms of staying upright. It's a bit floppy when you're packing or unpacking the bag but it's also not too bulky when fully packed so I guess that's the trade off. Overall I still love the bag.

Gute Qualität und gutes Tragegefühl.
Dies ist mein zweiter Osprey Rucksack und bin wieder sehr zufrieden. Tolle viele Fächer, genau die richtige Größe um einen Laptop und etwas Einkauf unterzubekommen.
