So, I haven't bought a toy this good in so long. Like, I even enjoyed it and my son freaking loved it so much! It was a bunch of fun, exciting, neat and very original! I was a bit put off by the price tag at first, but it just looked so damn cool, I went for it. It ended up being my seven year old son's favorite Christmas gift. 🎄 I want to not too that if you happen to be a parent of a child with ADHD or mild autism who has issues following written directions, paying close attention to detail, etc. This will help SO MUCH. They get so excited about creating the Beast and you tell them everything needs to be done exactly as the directions say to create the Beast, because it's a Science experiment. So then you have them read each step at a time, look at the photo and match it to what step they need to take next and then confirm it's done. They enjoy figuring it out on their own and making sure they're following the directions 100% correctly. Which usually is damn near impossible. (My son is still in the midst of getting tested, but he definitely has slight comprehensive issues because he doesn't take his time, he just speeds through everything trying to get it done...) So this toy has been a great little tutor! I'm super glad I bought some refills too cause we're both looking forward to doing it again! Seriously, if you have a boy/girl between like 6 and 10, don't pass this toy by!!!

Cool toys that aren't based on an IP of some kind are hard to come by, when I saw these I knew there was something special about them. For Christmas I bought two, one for my son (Shark) and one for his cousin (Cat) so they could make their monsters fight and play together. This is a whole experience, which is important to follow the instructions to get it to work the way it is intended, it sounds like a lot of reviewers didn't do something right and got "stuck". Both experiments went off with absolutely no problems, anticipation building from the kids as "smoke" started to emanate from the beaker as they added the ingredients and intensified the power of their experiment, and the reveal was beautiful and climactic. The toys themselves are large, durable and have lights and sound, plus action features in a spring loaded waist, and they come with attachable weapons. The bodies of them are a softer plastic as well, most likely to avoid serious injuries if one is thrown. This is the sort of thing I could only have dreamed of as a kid, and seeing my own go through this experience was enough to justify the price tag, let alone the fact that he and his cousin played with their monsters all night. It's every bit as cool as the commercials make it look.

For $60+ you’d figure this would be a little higher quality. The seals have leaked, the liquid had ran out and revealed the toy before we even set it up. Theres green liquid all over my table, and the fabric on one of my chairs. So thats stained. Hopefully it’s non-toxic? It took a lot of the fun out of the whole thing because the reveal was ruined. Maybe this was a defective unit, but it’s going back and because of the low quality. UPDATE: Ordered a replacement and ended up with the exact same problem. The quality control here is absolutely nonexistent with this product and I would not recommend any of the toys from this manufacturer/store. You can see on the last picture that the chamber is still sealed with a zip tie and the reveal fluid is at such a low level that you can see the toy. These things are junk and they should be ashamed to ask for $60 for a piece of garbage like this. Skip past this one and find another option, save your time, save your money.

My son absolutely LOVES this toy! Seriously, so cool! I made up our own refills so he could have fun doing the experiment steps over and over. He's five and couldn't be happier to have such a clever Mommy. The refills are expensive! But you can easily grab some supplies to make your own. The mist is the only thing I haven't figured out a diy solution for, but it also hasn't run out yet either.

This toy is wonderful. My son wanted this for Christmas so when he opened it Christmas morning and tossed aside the box we were sad that we couldn’t find the ingredients or beaker to do the experiment. These items were hidden in the top portion of the box that keeps the main unit in place inside the big box. Good for keeping things where they belong but very bad for an excited kid. You cannot tell the items are there without pulling it apart or looking closely. Otherwise my son loves this toy. He did the experiment and was amazed by the smoke effects. You can also “redo” the experiment with your own ingredients as much as you’d like (without smoke eventually as it will run out but I believe you can reorder that as well). My son has reset his experiment a few times and loves it.

My boys have been begging for one of these all year. With the price, it wasn't something I was going to buy for a just because treat. We decided to give these as Christmas gifts. Beast lab was a hit. Not only had they been asking for them, it is an interactive experience. The problem is you can only perform the experiment once. There are no refills with this, you have to purchase the refills separate. And the refills do not offer the same experience as the original with the "slime" covering the reveal. It would also be nice if instructions were included. I had to look online to find how to work the item.

This is our second Beast Lab so we knew what to expect and this on was defective. Slime is supposed to go all the way to the top so you can’t see which cat you created until the end. Well when we went to remove the paper around the chamber you could already is the cat which ruined the surprise. It appears that this chamber was created without enough slime because even after trying to reset the chamber it still doesn’t fill the entire beaker.

I’ve purchased three of these figures. The Dino, shark and cat. I have two to my son this Christmas. Thankfully I knew what to expect as we bought him one before and saw in advance that the slime did not reach the top of the enclosure. So as not to reveal the toy inside, we left the cardboard on the item while doing the experiment. Unfortunately the mechanism on the base that allows the slime to go down and up didn’t work on this one. By looking at the other ones I could see where I had to use a slender object to reach the plastic piece for the slime to go down. This definitely ruined the reveal but thankfully my son already had two of these so the whole experiment wasn’t a bust for him. That being said I know some other families may have only bought it could afford the one toy and their experience would definitely be ruined with this sort of malfunction. So I wanted others to be aware. These toys are pretty pricey and a lot of that price is the experiment itself so to have that aspect not work is a quality issue the company should address. On a positive note, the other two worked well and the action figures themselves are very durable. They’re one of my son’s favorite toys right now even with the whole sonic hype going on so that’s a huge compliment to this toy brand.

This toy is priced exceptionally high and I only got this on sale. but after I got it, realised that another store had it even cheaper at ~S$50. Anyways, the surprise element of the experiment was foiled because the green liquid that’s supposed to hide the beast had already leaked before we received it and there wasn’t enough to cover it. #fail perhaps the product can’t withstand long term storage and this is just what happens. buy at discretion / proceed with caution. the liquid also continues to leak after playing with it a few times.

My grandson lived this when he got it last year. We went over recently to see everyone and I asked, what is that thing smoking on the table 😂 I was told it was the Mr. Beast toy we got. He still lives it and apparently it's not a one time or one use thing. Still playing with it a year later so must be good.

My son really enjoyed this and I was really impressed for the 3 days it lasted. Unfortunately the green slime in the lid leaked (see photos) so I had to return to Amazon, and the price has since gone up so won't be replacing immediately. Sad.

The package mailed from USA and it arrived one week earlier than expected, and it was not broken at all. I was happy with that.

Bought this special toy for my son for Christmas back in November. When I opened it to wrap I find it’s in pieces and the box is cut up! I’m so disappointed and it’s too late to send back and get a new one. Very very very disappointed.
