i have been a snoseal fan for many, many years. i tried some of the ken e trek stuff and was impressed with the ease of application, but put off by the cost. out of curiosity i got this stuff...it being the cheapest mink oil on amazon. i am pleased with the results so far. it too, goes on easy and doesnt need the heat to really penetrate the leather. just a little at a time, and it seems to absorb well enough just rubbing it into the boot. so far is holding up as well as the others...and at a much better value. i already have another can in my cart.

This leather conditioner is amazing!!! I recently obtained a very old pair of leather sandals and was able to restore them to their original condition (if not better!) with this product. A little bit goes a long way but it doesn’t really matter if you use too much as long as you work it in to the material and apply it evenly. I was nervous to use it at first, especially on this vintage pair of sandals but it works so wonderfully that now I can’t wait to treat my other leather shoes with it! Such a great product and the value for the money is unmatched. It will keep your shoes looking and feeling great and protect them from debris. The can is sturdy and the sponge that came with it seems durable and like it will hold up for many uses. The can is silent and the lid makes no noise when you open it. Easy to use. Smells great. Protects leather from cracking and water damage. It will actually soften leather. I love the screw top can. And the applicator sponge. It can be used on on other items as well. The consistency is like butter and wax combined.

It’s important to know that when leather is damaged to a certain point then nothing will change that short of professional repair. This is a great mink reconditioning treatment. For beginners keep in mind you need to be sure: 1) of the type of leather you wish to treat 2) to GENTLY clean the area(s) first in whatever way suitable for leather type 3) to use an applicator sponge or microfiber cloth to apply 4) apply SMALL amounts to applicator followed by gentle circular motions to spread and allow for absorption of product 5) A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY 6) some of the mink oils and other products WILL “stain” or darken leather SIGNIFICANTLY. Be aware of this if treating lightly colored, white, or any leather you don’t want any variation of color to occur. The first 2 photos are before and last 2 are after. Lighting isn’t the best, but you can see the nice sheen and the much improved look of the seat and back. This couch was purchased used and is a LAZY-Boy genuine high grain leather sofa. There is a need for some light professional repair to the deeply scratched or cracked area on this seat but the oil did a great job at rejuvenating an old couch. Ar least 65% of the cracks were healed with use and we expected only about a 25% improvement. This product (WHEN USED CORRECTLY) doesn’t leave a greasy or oily residue not did it alter the overall color of the leather. It does appear that way from pics but it is simply because the leather was so dry and uncared for when i started. This product is clear so this helps not discolor the leather. It also does not have a strong or offensive odor at all, which is not always the case. My reasoning for only 4 stars not 5 is the included application sponge. It was much lower quality than the product itself which was disappointing. I simply used a sponge and microfiber cloth I had on hand already and automatically trashed the sponge that came with. Overall pleased with purchase for the price that i would purchase again in future.

Exactly what I needed.. what a difference it made on my shoes, leather bag.. I am hooked on cleaning and polishing and buffing .. it’s relatively new for me, but everything looks newer, nourished, softer.. try it. Easy to do

Really great quality and leaves the boots looking like new! Definitely gonna be using this brand of mink oil from now on!!!
