Silver Cross - Gourmet Highchair - Baby Chair - Portable High Chair - Newborns to 3 Years - Black

We’ve been using the Silver Cross Gourmet Highchair in black for a few months now, and it’s become a mealtime essential. The padded seat is really comfy and easy to wipe clean after messy meals – a huge plus! It reclines nicely (great for newborns or relaxed feeding), has multiple height positions to pull right up to the table, and the 5-point harness keeps our little one secure. It folds compactly for storage without taking up much space, and the sleek black design looks premium in our kitchen. Assembly was straightforward too. It’s on the heavier side compared to super-basic chairs, but the quality and adjustability make it worth it. Highly recommend if you want something that lasts from newborn to toddler (up to ~3 years) without constantly buying replacements. Great buy – our baby loves sitting with us at dinner!

This high chair is so versatile, the adjustment in hight is so easy and the table is also very easy to remove and replace when needed and the table has a cover we which is a click on and off can be cleaned and replaced when needed. It can also be folded away when not in use.

Bit difficult to clean honestly. You have to fight to get the cushion off to get to the multiple square hole base - then tip that over to get crumbs out and then clean - daily so you dont get mould! Other than this, the chair is nice, comfortable, stable, foldable and adjustable. My son is happy in it.

Good well made chair my wee boy is nearly 2 now and it's still in great condition.comes ready built so ready to use straight away.found it easy to clean and good recliner as well for afternoon naps

Clip on the underside of the tray that is supposed to allow you to store it on the hooks on the rear legs broke on the first day. It's only attached to the tray with a tiny piece of plastic, poor design especially given it is a noted feature of this product. Contacted the seller who isn't interested in helping, only to "call their central phone number for warranty issues". Strangely enough when a product isn't fit for purpose, the last thing a customer wants to do is sit on hold, especially when an alternative contact method is available. Silver Cross carries a certain brand expectation, I would say based on this experience that expectation is wholly based on their past, and not their present product or customer service.

I bought this because it was the top recommended one from Which? It’s a good highchair, with lots of features. Initial assembly was quite straightforward. Unfortunately, it’s far too big for a 6 month old. My daughter can sit really well on her own, but she somehow always ends up a bit slumped to the side. Even when the straps are on their tightest setting, they’re still a bit loose. Plus, you can’t change the height of the tray table, so her arms look like little T-Rex arms poking over the top. I’m sure it will be great when she’s a bit bigger, but if you’re looking for a chair for your baby starting solids at 6 months, I’d choose a different one. It’s also quite fiddly to take apart to clean.

we purchased almost a year ago. I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately, it hasn’t worked out as I hoped. While I appreciate that it can be broken down for storage, the tray is a real hassle. It takes forever to align it properly with the handles, and there are just too many crevices where food gets stuck. It’s honestly quite cumbersome to clean. If you’re considering this high chair, I’d recommend looking for alternatives.
