This radio does not work on direct AC supply. However it has a ac/dc inbuilt socket. You need to buy a 3 volt ac to dc converter. You can get it for Rs.80 in your local market.I am using this radio with dc converter and completely happy with the performance. You can use it on battery as well outdoors on a picnic or outings.
