I had heard of Shea butter as a constituent in many cosmetics, but never realised that it could be such a powerful base for massaging the skin, nourishing and giving a shine to the hair and also detoxifying painful muscles or tissues by massaging them with it. Best if used with a blending medium like oil or cold cream.

Initially I had given negative review because I received two cheap plastic containers that looked like 50 GM containers, with butter leaking on all sides and had strong waxy smell. The butter was also granular and did not melt on contact with skin. So concluded that the product is fake and was cheated. After nearly 6-7 months of purchasing the product, I decided to use it to make candles at least. So while I left it to melt and checked later, I found the butter gliding smoothly on the skin and I later tested to see if it would moisturise. And it worked really well as a mosturiser especially for winters, too heavy for summers. I had relapse of eczema like condition on my knees and ankles in the meantime. When I had completed a oil bottle which I was using for this skin ailment, I thought why not try this Shea butter. I couldn't believe what happened next.. My eczema like problem on my skin started reducing and healing withing 1 week of application everyday, once a day!! I did not have to spend huge money to the dermatologist to treat my skin conditions. These two jars of 100 gms worked the healing. Thanks to Bliss of Earth for bringing this product. My less knowledge about chemical reactions to temperature lead to negative review, apologies for that. Pls continue to keep up the quality you are maintaining at this economical rate. It's a blessing to all of us who cannot afford or waste money for worthless doctor fees and medicines. Truly Mother Nature has provided us with all that we need!!

Smells very weird. I became unsure to use it because of the smell but since I bought it I used it, I added rosehip oil with fragrance to kill some of the smell but it totally lost to the Shea butter. It has very strong smells even after hours of applying. It doesnt fade but a great moisturizer I must say! I made it to moisture my preg belly- Shea butter, coconut oil, vit e, rosehip oil and many other ingredients.

Smelly , but would work that claim

I made a body and face cream with this raw shea butter. It works well for winters. But not recommended for summers.

After reading all the negative reviews and pictures I had kept this product in my wishlist for months... I FINALLY purchased it and I love it.... it is pure butter with a grainy texture like clarified butter (Desi ghee) It is not bad smelling either... everything in its raw form has a peculiar smell... only after adding artificial fragrances do all the body lotions and conditioners smell good... this smells neither unpleasant nor extraordinary The product as such is very nice... a little hard due to the winters but melts as soon as you apply it... I have applied it on my dry heels and a little bit on the dry ends of my hair. Maybe some of the people received fungal products due to the wet monsoon or something but I'm sure the seller is more cautious now cos of the bad reviews and is very careful in sending the product... I will definitely be ordering again soon
