KD Thumb Brace Elite: CMC Thumb Support for Osteoarthritis and Arthritis Pain Relief - Fits Snugly Thumb Brace for Women Men (Small, Right Hand)

I bought this brace for what I think is trigger finger. It does a great job stabilizing CMC joint. The rubber brace does have metal on the inside so you can mold it to your hand, which is nice. It also came with a one-size-fits-all compression sleeve, but as you see the photos, it’s entirely too big. I did order a size small because I do have a smaller hand and the compression sleeve just was not compressing anything. Overall I’d say it was a good buy, , it came with extra straps, a little carrying bag and compression sleeve. One thing I found odd was there was absolutely no directions, but it’s easy enough to figure out. It does seem to be modeled after the more expensive brace that you can find on here. Its helped me tremendously in regards to pain relief. I could tell a difference the first day I wore it. I was in excruciating pain and this brace helped minimize the pain. If you have trigger thumb or any CMC joint issues I highly suggest giving this brace a try.

Less bulky than my splint, comfortable.

I wear this for an arthritic CMC joint and it helps. Doesn't take all the pain away but certainly makes it bearable. Only reason I dropped a star is because it hurts a little between the thumb and finger. Maybe I might need to trim some of the rubber away close by my thumb. I just don't want to compromise the good it's doing. I have 3 of them. Both thumbs and a extra.

By now I’m pretty sure I have ordered almost every brand of these type of braces. One of my biggest complaints about them was how rigid and painful they were to wear, especially in the thumb crease. These, on the other hand, are much more flexible and don’t hurt to wear. They give very good support even for someone like me that has a very pronounced joint deformity now. I can wear it all day long with no problems. My pain level goes from extreme without it, to almost none with it. And I can still use my hands like normal (like crocheting). I’ve been using it for almost 6 months now and it shows no signs of breaking down, and it’s very easy to clean. The only draw back for me is sizing, and this is no fault of the brace. My hand measures between 7.25”-7.75” depending on how much swelling for that day. I’m caught right in the middle of needing a small or a medium. Because of the price, I got both. Side note: the little glove they added is kind of laughable if you have smaller hands.

The brace itself is amazing, unlike several others I’ve tried this is beyond comfortable to wear and gives great support. I loved the sleeve you wear under it but unfortunately it’s very poorly made and after one wear the thumb part came apart, the fabric is only glued and not very well either. I did get a replacement very quickly and was hoping the first one was just a glitch but, after wearing the replacement for 2 days the same thing happened. So sad to produce an amazing brace but fail with the under sleeve. Very disappointed

This brace is very supportive but it broke, the silicone tore, in less than one month. Seller should replace free of charge. I can’t recommend this product due to the silicone being faulty. EDIT 12-17-2024 The seller actually read my initial review, reached out and sent me a replacement brace. Outstanding customer service.

I bought the left thumb brace and it works perfect. I have arthritis and just had cortisone shot. Dr recommended a thumb brace from a place. 99.00. I checked Amazon and this brace looks almost the same as the 99.00 one. The price is under 30.00. It's very comfortable and works better than other ones. I liked it so much ordered the right one. Came today. Highly recommend this.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Went on the recommendation of my hand doctor….product has missing parts and there were no instructions. Bought one for the left thumb and the right thumb. The product description was the same the picture in the website was the same but they were in totally different types of boxes…. Stuff inside was not the same. I feel that this was a return from another customer and they took some items out of the box
