Nearly expired
Received this item on 12/22 and the expiration is 12/23. Very disappointing— especially since it wasn’t even supposed to get here until 12/28. Will never use them again.

Better deal for home cheesemakers
For your cheddar cheesemaking. Better deal than individual packets of culture. While some would use this entire envelope for a large gallon batch, it can be used for home use. I use 1/4 tsp per 2 gallons. Keep it sealed in ziplock bags, 2 layers, in freezer. Thermophillic from same store, work just as well. My cheddar was very sharp made from this, but, Indid add very sharp lipase, and at 6months, woo, sharp, but likey... R
