THIS IS A MUST READ
First, I’d like to say that since I ordered this brush I have been eagerly awaiting its arrival. If you can imagine - a dog staring, waiting ready to chase that ball once you pick it up and resume position. This was me waiting for this brush. My best furry best buddy in the world. Scout and his partner in crime Bandit identify as Australian Shepherd. One with a true show coat (was breeders pick of the litter from her multiple champions male dog - unfortunately his little peanuts didn’t drop and that is when he became my most loyal, obnoxiously obsessed as*hole best friend. This dog earned his naughty status by ripping the outside spigot out of the brick thus flooding my home at Age 2. He then carelessly ran his zoomies chasing his brother dog in the yard and bumped into me while running sideways and snapped my left leg in two at age 3. Then my most embarrassing moment when he jumped to bite the water sprinkler in the yard and accidentally got my left breast instead which entailed an ER room full of men nurses and stitches- he was four. My dinner, lunch and even breakfast is not safe unattended for more that one thousandth of a second on the counter or he will gladly eat my meal, even if it’s the only food left on this green planet.I have gotten a bit carried away here and don’t get me wrong my naughty Boy Scout loves me even more than my own flesh and blood Mother. He nibbles on my pillow at night and watches every single move I make, making certain I am always within sight of him. These buddies of mine shed an amount of dog hair daily to create a whole new dog!?! How is that even possible? How are they not bald from this amount of hair. I took them to the groomer every two weeks for several years until I started working at home. Now, grooming has become my responsibility. They get bathed monthly and I purchased a very expensive high power blower to dry them and use a detangling softening spray each time I brush them every week. I still have masses of hair, undercoat attached to everything I own… Then I read the reviews on this brush and thought heck what’s $65 in todays word and purchased it.Today it arrived and I immediately gave my boy a 1 minutes brush and in that one minute I got more undercoat and hair than a full 15-20 minute brush with my old brush. If you are on the fence, just hit add to cart and buy it. It’s going to save you time and frustration and will save you money on lint/hair rollers. You won’t be disappointed! Whoever designed this brush is a genius!

The Only Slicker Brush You'll Ever Need
The best and only slicker brush you'll ever need. I have a mini Aussie and he wouldn't let me brush him with any slicker brush I'd tried before (about 5 different brands) and they all just went right through his fur not getting any tangles and just scratching his skin. Not this one. It actually gets into his double coat to remove loose fur and not just his under coat and he will sit and let me brush him regularly now. We actually remove fur in between larger sheds and his coat is so soft and smooth!

Give it a chance, take your time
Ok, so I have a 32lb mini labradoodle who hates beening groomed and is less than thrilled about being brushed. She has a very thick wavy coat.I've tried pin brushes (that did nothing), different slickers with mixed results and still had little improvement when I took her to the groomer. Mats galore.Give this brush a chance. Firstly, get the right size. For my dog, medium was right. Secondly, If your dog is already severely matted, this will make the job much harder. I found that daily use AFTER grooming is the best way to start. Once you do, you'll be amazed how this brush will keep your pup mat free. My pup has floppy sort ears, so I use a pin brush for those areas as its much more gentle.I was spending $130 every two months on grooming to keep my pup mat free. I now feel that grooming will be very 4-5 months Vs 2-3

This one is made in Germany! Great product.
I got this on recommendation from a few groomers. I have a Whoodle with very fine hair. The less amount of wires compared to the other one makes it easier for me to deal with brushing with it. I use a detangler spray because I was told not to comb dry. My favorite brush through is the pin brush from them. This is good for a bit extra poof which I find overkill and too poodle like.So what I’m saying is it’s hard for a non professional to use, nor do I want the show dog poodle look. But still it works out some mating issues

Just ok
This brush was kinda hard to get the fur out of. And now after a month the blue color is chipping off.
