I’m really impressed with this weighted blanket! It definitely met and exceeded my expectations. The quality and material feels great, well made and durable, the size is also very good..and the colour is lovely and true to the pictures.It has a proper weight to it (which I was hoping for), and you can really feel the difference when using it. It’s been especially helpful for relaxing at night – I feel more settled, and it’s made a noticeable difference to my sleep. It also gives a really comforting, calming feeling which I’ve found great for anxiety.Overall, it feels like a high-quality product for the price and does exactly what it promises. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to improve their sleep or just feel more relaxed!

It’s been just over a month since I got this, and I wanted to wait to review it until I’d given it a fair try.I’ll be honest, I wasn’t convinced this weighted blanket was going to be much good, and the first couple of nights I remained unconvinced. It was strange to have weight on me at night, and I wasn’t sure I liked it.However, the first night I did sleep much better than I had done for a while, despite the sensation being strange. I put this down to being over tired and needing the sleep. But then I noticed that although not always extending my sleep I was sleeping far more deeply, and waking up far more refreshed.Then after the first week or so, I started to find the weight incredibly comforting, until in the past week I don’t notice the weight as such. Although I’m aware of the weight.The best way I can describe it is like being held at night, like being hugged as you sleep, comforting.As someone diagnosed with ADHD (and more likely AuDHD) I struggle to sleep well at night, not helped by having sleep apnoea and needing a CPAP machine. Something else that took a while to get used to, sleeping with a mask on at night, until eventually it just became part of my night and improved my sleep quality.Which is exactly what this blanket does. Not only is it like being held at night I’ve noticed it does seem to have stopped me fidgeting in my sleep as much, therefore promoting better sleep.The colour itself is really nice and the weight is perfect for me. There are lighter and heavier versions available, but I find the 6kg to be spot on.The design is really good, and the weight distribution is fantastic, not to mention the size is great too.It’s also proven to be not overly hot to sleep under to date, although time will tell as we’re just starting to get into much warmer weather. So maybe I’ll do an update after summer.Like I said though, I wasn’t expecting much, but this has turned out to be one of the best purchases I’ve made in quite sometime following mattress and pillow gate drama a few years back.I’m thrilled with this purchase and expect it to last quite a while, although I’ve yet to try cleaning it and of course only letting time pass will truly let me know how well made it is. Yet, to date, I’d say it’s extremely well made.Is it good - yes.Is it worth the price - yes.Would I recommend it - yes.If you have sensory sensitivity due to being neurodiverse then I strongly recommend trying this weighted blanked because when I use it I’m as snug as a bug in a rug.

THE ITEMThe recommended size for my body weight was a double size, however this sold out. my bed is a king and adult can add an extra few pounds but i went for the king even though i was slightly worried. the item came 4 days early and came packaged nicely and came in a white bag with handles. The colour is the super cute like the picture and it is soft and good quality. It is really heavy so i feel like its an arm workout every time i pick it up and move it but thats expected. It is hard to lift but its easier to drag but its not that bag of a deal since the weight is the point of the product.THE EXPERIENCEso when i first laid under the blanket it was such a strange (in a good way) experience. The weight was nice and relaxing and it felt really good on my body. I have slept with it on top of me and on top of my quilt too. Surprisingly, it doesn't get too warm and stuffy just under the blanket so its fine during the hot summer. I feel like i get use to the weight, but i do feel it helps calm my body and anxiety. It can get quite annoying when i wake up and i wanna take it off so i just end up kicking it to the bottom of my bed. The beads are unnoticeable and they evenly fit to your body shape.MY WORRYi was worried if this was dangerous to sleep with but i think it may just be unsafe for young children. please do your research. The description also says they are made from micro-beads made from glass so i was scared to sit on the blanket and break the glass/damage but i think the beads are too small to break.OVERALLI feel like this is a great blanket to ease anxiety and maybe relax you at night time. as some blankets are like £100 this is worth the money and hopefully it lasts.

So I finally got a weighted blanket after years of wanting one but finding them expensive. However I looked on the Amazon Black Friday sale and managed to get this one for under £16, bargain. The delivery was really speedy and well packaged on arrival. Now down to the blanket, so it definitely feels heavy, I’m just glad I didn’t go for the heaviest size I feel the 6kg one is just right for me. The material is very soft and nicely stitched and well made and i absolutely adore the plush pink colour! The blanket is a little on the thin side but it just about keeps me warm. I haven’t tried to use it at nighttime for bed yet so time will tell if it improves my anxiety and sleep, but I really do hope it helps. So why did I take a star off? Well the product is very well made, soft and a great weight however I do wish I went for a bigger size as it doesn’t cover me properly so my feet stick out the end, doesn’t help with the fact I’m tall. But overall this blanket is well worth the money, and the delivery was very speedy also so I really recommend this product. Thank you.

its a well made blanket, good valuei was a little skeptical - about the claims however i have not been disappointed.for the value i just went formy sleep has improved, i do not wake up as offen, the weight is evenly spread across the sheet area.i do not wake with increase heart running - currently do not understand how it work.i would say - for the price, £22 - give it a go - other blanket are almost doubleNote:I found it quite warm - so had to remove my Duvet from on top - be interesting to see how i hand it during the summer - ( in the UK summer doe not last that long, lol)

These things are crazy good! I got this as it’s something I’ve had my eye on for quite some time, and boy is it worth it!Super heavy and warm but it really helps you lock in a good nights sleep, or even just a nap, it’s so helpful. Great size and awesome build quality.I urge you, if you struggle to get an easy nights rest like me, GET THIS BLANKET!

I ordered this for my 18 year old daughter who sleeps better with weight on her legs. The blanket is obviously heavy (6kg) but is not suffocating heavy when laid over her. The weight displaces well. The grey colour is great and the little tiny weighted beads aren't noisy when she moves about in the night. She puts it over her duvet but as the weather gets warmer she would be happy just sleeping under it. Have had to sponge clean part of it already due to a spillage but it dried well and I can't see any signs of the tea stain! The size is great, I literally think you would only need the size of your body.. no need to cover the entire bed. It's a well made blanket and the material doesn't look or feel cheap. This took a couple of days to arrive as I think it's shipped straight from the seller. Worth the wait though. You won't be disappointed.

Perfect blanket for helping relax after a stressful day!

Nice and soft. The size is perfect for relaxing and reading on the couch. This is my second weighted blanket and by far my favorite of the two. I chose an 8 pound blanket, I’m 120 pounds with a small frame. I find this to be much more calming than my previous 12 pound, which felt a bit crushing. The light grey color is also soothing. I’m using it as I write this review, hence, no exclamation points ;)
