What every professional needs for construction. Love the ability to measure both ways. Very accurate. Lots of great features.

I have a Bosch unit and it works great. For work, I use it to help draw building plans, but the one disadvantage with the Bosch unit is the single laser measure. I need to walk to two walls and place the unit against the wall to take necessary measurements. I purchased this bidirectional unit and love it. I simply go towards the center of the room take a measurement turn the unit 90 degrees and take the next measurement-boom- done - for that room. Much faster and easier than the Bosch unit. I really like having the angle display that gives feedback to ensure the measurement is level and most accurate. The green laser dot is bright. A few improvements I wish for: 1. A vibrate feature when a good measurement is taken ( level and reading were good). Sometimes I'm in a position that I don't have direct access to the screen when taking the measurement so I have to check to see if the measurement is good. 2. Belt clip come on! there is a 1/4-20 screw hole for mounting just include a belt clip. 3. When taking measurements, once a second measurement is taken, the first disappears off the screen. Yes it can be recalled with a couple of button presses, but having it hang on the screen in a smaller font would be helpful. Beside those requests the unit is build well and has great features. Highly recommend.

Fantastic little laser distance measurer. It's so simple to use right out of the box! You can change units, change different measurement types, and change how the laser measurements are being made so easily. I compared this back-to-back with a VERY high end Stabila laser distance measurement tool - and I liked this one better!

So glad I found this item. I have been needing a laser measuring tool and this one allows me to not have to bend down to read the meter. Works great. Measurement is spot on. Not very heavy to hold for long term. And menu is bright enough to read in sun light.

Amazing laser measuring tool. Very easy to use and most importantly it has two lasers so you can stand at the center of a room and get the distance from wall to wall. Highly recommend and really enjoy using this laser.

Really dislike the long pause functions now used. But, the Nintendo controls need to be used I guess. Heck my old VCR still blinks 12:00:00 LOL. However, the green laser is easy to see. Just not beyond 15 feet in bright sunlight. I found tracking the green dot along the ground to my primary target the best way. Even then it took 3 or 4 clicks to get a reading. Plus, try holding it on a small target and clicking the button. Very hard to do. Have found it to be very accurate for my needs. Took one star off because in sunlight it is still very difficult to track that little green dot. My old camera tripod works well and attaches perfectly. It's an el cheapo but it works. Quality? It's a plastic box with lens on each end. Electronics in the middle. Longevity? Don't know only used it a few times. Not kicked it around the shop yet. :)

Fantastic functionality and high repeatability. I would read the manual though. Mine came dead, so I had to charge it before it would turn on. They warm you that if this happens it can damage your battery permanently and shorten is life, so mine may already be damaged, but i sure don't notice it if it is because the battery has lasted all day even with using various settings and measuring a few rooms in my house. It warns that if the battery gets too low, it could need recalibration. The manual tells you how to do it though, so it's not such a big deal. I would buy this again. On occasion, I noticed it can take a few seconds before taking a reading, i think this is some sort of averaging or verification thing because when laid on a surface, it reads quickly and consistently.

Easy to use, at least the basics. I haven't tried most of the things the manufacturer says it can do. Well made, I've dropped it a couple times and it continues to work. Stays charged a long time, and recharge is easy and fast. It is more accurate than I am with a tape. Using for inside corners, stud bays, cabinets, etc, makes it useful all by itself. It works for long distance measurements, but you need a very steady hand

It doesn't perform as expected. It doesn't work during the day and even at night it shows "Error" 80% of the time. It takes a long time to get the measurement, compared to laser that I previously had. I used it to replace a Bosch red laser measure, thinking it would be better but it turned out to be a disappointment
