What can I say—it’s LEGO, which usually means great quality paired with a higher price. My kids have been hooked on these LEGO Advent Calendars for years, and opening each day’s build is always the first thing they do when they wake up throughout December. It’s definitely become a yearly tradition in our house. That said, the set does feel a bit scarce on minifigures for the cost. Several of the days are filled with very simple accessories, some of which aren’t particularly exciting (think a garbage can with a banana peel). The overall experience is still fun, but the “wow” factor of some days is hit-or-miss. Another drawback is the instructions. They’re printed on the inside of each door and often consist of just a tiny picture with a couple of arrows. A few builds have been surprisingly challenging to interpret based on the limited guidance. I bought this for my little brother (13 year old) for Christmas and he loved it!! Who doesn't love a new pack of legos and especially when each day is a surprise. He was excited each day to open a new pack! Perfect gift for younger kids/preteens who love legos and Spider-man!

my 16-year-old loved this advent calendar for counting down to Christmas this past year. They are easy to assemble and come with directions. Shipping was fast and arrived ahead of schedule. He had so much fun. Great for all ages.

This looked like a great set. My son wanted it but as he opens the doors he was a little disappointed because it would be a light post, then next day a stop light, then a garbage can, when he opened a characters it was missing the torso. I contacted Lego the said this did not qualify for their piece replacement. I’m hope there are better pieces to come.

My 9 year old is very into Lego right now! These advent boxes were easy to open. The Lego picture was behind each door of advent and was easy to put together. He loves creating a scape of all the pieces. All of the pieces were accounted for and there were a few extras as well.
