Great steak knives! Sharp… cuts well

These knives are very heavy duty. We have not tried cutting cooked meat with them yet, but they seem as though they'll be fine. They did great with carrots and cheese. The knock down to 4/5 stars is because I thought these were German made, they are NOT. The box says "Made in China" on the back - this was disappointing. Hopefully quality will hold up through the years.

Beautiful finish! Not too heavy, not too light. Blends well with my current flatware. Knives are very sharp.

They’re sharp and pointy, I’ve had them for a week, so who knows how they’ll hold up. They seem sturdy. They make a zing sound when I pull them out of a wooden block i’ve had for years — wooden block not included with the knives. Sounds like a sword. That makes no difference, but I like it.

These were delivered January 8th, and today is March 16th. Last week I noticed rust forming on the blades. You can see in the middle of the knife blade where its getting black. I've barely had them a month and they are rusting, making them unusable because rusted metal can lead to botulism. Botulism is a rare, severe illness caused by a nerve toxin produced by the bacteria Clostridium botulinum, found in rust.
