1/18 TRX-4M F-150 High Trail Crawler Truck

I saw the black and the blue versions of this at my local hobby shop and when I noticed there was a brown one, I had to have it as my first truck ever was the same color brown ‘79 F250. I asked if they had any in brown but they were all out & not getting any more in. Came home looked here and bam there she was. Ordered & received a few days later. The classic dent side body always looks awesome to me. I have taken all over my yard, through the grass, garden areas, over scalloped & brick pavers, through the neighbors river rock park strip & it’s been fun AF. Three speed settings, which I use the second & just feather the throttle to climb over obstacles. I was out today with it for 20 minutes & seemed to have plenty of battery life left to go longer. The size is perfect that it doesn’t take too much room on the shelf, but big enough to go wheelin up my mounded garden. I’ve read some reviews where people have said the front end broke on their first run. I can see if you rally it over obstacles then yes, something will break. Same with an actual crawler. All in all this is way fun & a nice little RC unit for a good price.

This Crawler is a BEAST super durable the Ford appearance looks excellent and the size may be small, but it is wonderful is perfect for most crawler tracks than buying one of the massive ones it’s battery life. I haven’t been able to kill it one time. I just plugged it in after a while and it is so much fun.

son loves this truck has been buying other accessories for it. Only issue was the mirrors broke off when he was rock climbing.

BUYER BEWARE. FASELY MARKETED AS A CRAWLER. Last year we bought each of our children FMS18’s for Christmas and they started failing at multiple points a week in. The assumption is that Traxxas are better so we ponied up $400 for 2 of these. Lo and behold 48 hours after Christmas the steering servo is going out in one of them. Upon further research this is a common problem especially if used for crawling. The servos are under engineered with cheap plastic parts. The solution is to contact Traxxas for a warranty claim or purchase an upgraded servo for $45. One would assume that when you spend $200 for a piece of plastic on wheels that is marketed for “crawling” the engineers at Traxxas would design it for crawling. This thing is a piece of under engineered overpriced trash that has been marketed as a “crawler”. Maybe a good toy for driving on flat surfaces or sitting on a shelf looking pretty.

Presa per natale per mio figlio, ottima idea per fargli passare ore all'aperto e in casa senza stare al computer e simili. Prodotto di cui a oggi posso dire solo bene, la batteria è a lunga durata, la Traxxas fa tutto quello che è dichiarato dal costruttore. Utilizzo semplice, bisogna seguire bene le istruzioni per la carica della batteria.
