Exceptional value when compared to a similar model from samsung.
I am highly impressed with this TV. I'm a landscape photographer and wanted to wait to present my artwork on my living room wall at a large size for potential clients. This TV was on sale for $800 at the time that I purchased it and I feel like it is exceptional value for the price. It mounts flat against the wall and with the included frame, it has fooled a number people who thought it was framed canvas print. It's very easy to upload my own photos to the TV and the included art is also quite nice. The screen can look a little bit washed out when watching other content on it, but that is ideal for displaying art, which is its primary purpose, so I don't mind.

Color me impressed…
We wanted a frame tv because our bedroom walls needed some livening up. I was planning on purchasing a Samsung, even though I knew people who had horror stories about mounting them and the price point was leaning toward extravagance. Then I saw this brand/model. Much cheaper, looked nicer in the listing pictures, and the reviews across the board were much better. So I went with it, despite the fact that Hisense sounds like a Temu brand. Wow, don’t judge a frame television by its name. This tv is legit. Looks like a million bucks and was relatively easy to install, all things considered. The matting options in art mode look amazing - the only downside being it looks so real you often have to remind guests to not touch the screen, lol.

So far so good
Have had for a week and so far I’m loving it.Visually, it doesn’t disappoint, just as advertised. Picture and sound quality seem very acceptable to me- I’m not a technical expert and just wanted a tv that sounds and looks great. I’m sure there are higher quality tvs out there but for the average person I think it’s excellent. The artwork is nice, I’m surprised how often people don’t realize it’s a television. Plenty of customizing options.I also love the remote. Simple and user friendly. I happy with this purchase for sure.

Should Have Purchased Sooner
We purchased two on Black Friday! What a deal! The picture quality is awesome even though located next to our patio doorwall. The ease of setting up and connecting to all of our apps is amazing. We are very very happy with this purchase. We love how the screen serves as a picture within a frame when not in use. Great addition to our decor.

updated review week three
Week three updated review: I love the art display on this TV. It makes it fun and interesting. I will be buying three more eventually.Updated review: with this tv you can download the Frame Crop (art tv) App. It makes it easy to expand your art collection, save it and then download it to your Hisense Art TV. I am really enjoying this art tv this far on week two.Pros: Bought this specifically for the art display, and will eventually have other custom digital art work on display. It is beautiful and does really well in the room that it is in, considering how many lights this room has.If you didn’t know it was a TV, you would think it was an actual piece of artwork. Which was exactly why we bought this.Cons: Install instructions are poor. Customer service from Hisense is non-existent. The phone number they provide says to contact whomever you bought it from.Helpful hints:This only comes with a white power cord. If you want a HTMI cord, Cat6 cord, etc. you will need to buy them and have them ready for your install.Mounting : locate the studs (I use three different stud finders to cross check). Once studs are identified, mark on walls. Use painters tape to outline on the wall, where you want the tv to go.When you have the tv on a LEVEL and flat surface , attach the two brackets - making sure they are plumb and level. Then attach (a dry-fit) the mounting bracket on the back of the tv that is laying down on its flat surface. Measure sides, top and bottom of where the bracket is in relation to the tv dimensions. Remove the mounting bracket. It has strong magnets , so you may have to pry it off.Go back to the wall now. Locate where you have marked the stud locations. Move the template around on your wall, so that you can attach the mounting bracket in the holes that have horizontal slots WHERE you will attach to STUDS. You may have to move the location of your TV in order to mount this on studs. It is a very heavy tv. I would NOT personally recommend mounting this unless you have a solid surface (stud, masonry) to attach to. They give you six lag screws. Pre drill, using a much smaller drill bit than the screw itself. The screw has a Philips head (screw-strip opportunity there) and a hex head. Have both a hex head and Phillips head to work these in. There are smaller holes, where I attached cabinet screws (which by the way, have the sheer strength of a lag screw)as they were also in studs. You will never regret putting in more screws - but you may regret not putting in enough.I used painters tape to mark on the back of the tv where the recessed receptacle box was located - so I would have a tail of about four inches of power cord exactly where it should be. I painters taped the power cord, HDMI and Cat 6 cords being careful to only secure them where there were no vent holes. This tv is HEAVY. Much heavier than normal tv’s for some reason. You will need two people to mount this tv. It took three attempts to connect it. We had a 2” rubber mat set down below the mounting surface , which proved to be a good - safe place to set it in between our attempts to hang it. Once we had it hung, we pulled it back from the top a few inches and double checked to make sure it was attached on all of the brackets. Also, make sure you mount it so that you have no obstructions on the bottom left corner of the tv. In our case, we have an electric fireplace below it, so we had to make sure we had the clearance .Once powered up, the tv took some time to upload. After a hour we came back and were able to go through the steps to set up.We have a re-occurring problem in that the Hisense Remote has taken control of the other TV in the room. Nothing in the trouble shooting, manual, or on line mentions this problem/solution.Overall, at day two, it is a 50/50 at this point. If I can resolve the Alpha-take -over-of-the -other-tv with the Hisense remote, I would be a lot happier.Hisense needs (especially at this price point) someone (a person would be nice) to answer questions. I give them a zero on that. I did call Amazon but he too was un able to help and suggested that I call Hisense, which I had already done. The good ol’ pointing fingers game….I will update this review once I am able to find someone to assist with the Hisense Remote take over.I do like the art. I have the timer set to rotate my favorite images every 20 minutes. It will shut off if no one is in the room, and when you come back to the room it comes back on.There was one other brand (on Amazon) that had the art tv. At this point, I think I would have been better off going with that one. Simply for the reason, that I like to have someone to answer questions , especially if they have poor instructions.I will update more further down the road

Absolutely stunning
Incredible!Installed earlier this week and I’m so very happy with my purchase. The images are beautiful and a variety of art to choose from. The immersive experiences are top-notch.Only notable ping /negative is the TV came with a standard plug and since it needs to sit flush to the wall, we didn’t have the cord needed to install same day.Highly recommend for its viewing and art capability. It meets my viewing pleasures.Considering purchasing a second to install in my office

“Where’d your tv go?”
My husband wanted a tv in our living room and I did not… so we compromised and got this art tv and I LOVE it. He can watch sports when he wants and I get lovely artwork when he isn’t watching. One time we had a friend over when the tv was in art mode and they said “where’d your tv go?” That’s how good it is my absolute favorite feature is that I can listen to blue tooth music off my phone while in art mode, my parents have a Samsung frame and they can’t do that. We want to purchase another one for our bedroom!
