Clear picture. no set up needed just plug it in!
This is a great web cam. I have been needing to replace my old cheap one for a while, It was starting to fail. This camera was recognized right away no drivers or set up needed. The picture quality of this camera is excellent. Itโs nice and clear. It adjusts perfectly to different learning conditions. Itโs does actually work at 60 frames per second. This is noticeable right away when compared with my old camera. Movement is much smoother with less blurring. The auto focus feature is nice and it works well. The field of view is good. The distance is a pretty well balanced itโs not too far away and not too close. It captures from mid chest up, which is just right for sitting at your desk for a video call. The built in ring light works decently, it does help. And you can easily adjust its brightness by the touch sensor on top of the camera. There is a second sensor that allows you to turn off the camera too with just a quick tap. The dual microphones seem fairly sensitive and pick up sound well others report that they can hear me clearly. The mount works well it stays securely in place on my monitor. I noticed that there is also a threaded hole on the bottom for a tripod mount too, thats a nice option to have. Thereโs also a decent amount of articulation so you can tilt the camera side to side up and down a few degrees as needed. The overall size of this camera is pretty good too. Itโs not overly huge and doesnโt take a lot of space on top of my monitor. Overall, I would say this camera is a good solid basic webcam. If you need an affordable camera with decent picture and not a ton of bells and whistles I recommend this one.

Good hardware, mounting and video sensor. Lack of software and drivers lets it down a bit.
This review is for the "NUROUM V15-AFL Streaming Webcam with Ring Light, Autofocus Webcam for PC w/Dual Mic, 1080P 60fps, 75ยฐ FOV&Light Correction, USB Web Camera Plug&Play for Zoom/Teams/OBS/Xsplit, Streaming, Grey" that I received via the Vine program. I needed a webcam that I could stash in my backpack for the days that I commute to the office. This cam appeared on Vine, and I immediately ordered it. We use Teams and Zoom for our online communications and this cam works fine with both. It didn't require any drivers at all when plugged in and was immediately useable with both. The picture resolution and frame rate are excellent with no visible stutters or dropped frames. Unfortunately, the color balance out of the box is poor. It's overly sharpened and shifted quite a bit to the red. Skin tones do not look natural and the ring light, which has multiple settings, just doesn't put out enough light to make a difference in the picture quality. The camera hardware seems to be excellent, but the lack of software for fine tuning the picture is what lets down the otherwise good camera. If there was an available driver for the camera that would help with getting the color balance, white balance, and other settings corrected, this would be an excellent camera. However, if the particular software package (Discord, Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc.) has the ability to fine tune the camera settings, a few minutes tweaking those settings will make a night and day difference in the picture quality. I do like the touch buttons for turning the camera on and off and adjusting the ring lighting. They are responsive and immediately respond. The camera mount is pretty much industry standard with a standard as is the screw socket for tripods and other mounts. The inclusion of the standard screw socket is nice as other webcams tend to omit this. Also, the camera itself is on a tight ball mount that allows a good bit of adjustment of the camera on the mount. The cord, however, is fairly short and permanently attached. A USB-C extension cable might be necessary depending on the mounting point and the PC connection. Overall, I like this camera quite a bit, but the lack of proper drivers and settings adjustment software really lets it down. As long as the conferencing software has some advanced settings where the picture can be fine-tuned, this camera will do a great job for day-to-day video and audio conferencing. I'd still recommend it with these caveats.

Doesn't meet the specs
I have a very fast gaming laptop (Intel i7-12700H, RTX 3080, Samsung 980 Pro SSD) with USB 3.1 ports. You can have the fastest web cam in the world, but if you are trying to pipe it through USB 2.0 you will be limited by your connection speed. Even though I have USB 3.1 ports, this camera connects at USB 2.0 speeds. No settings I tried could change it. Unfortunately this means the speed is limited to USB 2.0 which is 480 Mbps (that's bits not bytes, in byte terms it would be less than 60 MBs because there is overhead). Anyway, at 480 Mbps you can get 1920x1080 video at 24 fps. You cannot get 1080P at 60 fps which is the rated speed it claims. Now it is possible that the camera could do preprocessing and compression before sending it to the computer possibly bumping up the fps. From the blurring of my hand, even at 720P 60 fps setting, I would have to say this is not getting that frame rate. Of course with some cameras, those frame rates only occur when actually recording. So I tried a recording as well and the blur effects were the same. I have another 1080P 60 fps web camera that actually uses a USB 3.0 connection and you can tell the difference. The image does appear clear. If you are not moving fast it can capture most of your movement. Auto focus seemed to work reasonably well (not perfect, but it does seem to focus in and keep focused after a short moment). The light didn't seem to be much help. Although I don't find myself in dark rooms looking at my computer screen a lot so maybe in that situation it would be great. But, with normal room lighting I couldn't seem to tell much difference in the light settings. Microphones worked great and I didn't see any issues with that. So I contemplated only giving this 2 stars because of the failure to use USB 3.0 and because I cannot see anyway this camera can provide 1080P at 60 fps without it. Based on my tests I think it is accurate to say it is only getting around 24 fps or at most 30...not enough for crisp clear non-blurry videos or the claims they are making. I think if the manufacturer would've put in the added expense of a USB 3.0 interface they would've not only met their claims, but would've got 5 stars from me. Depending on how much you want to spend...I would suggest seeing what a proper USB 3.0 camera would cost over this one before making a final choice.

Works on computer and Android TV
This webcam is great to pair with your computer or even an Android TV/media player. USB-A cord powers the camera from your computer or use a wall adapter (not included). There is indicator light on the front that remains illuminated when the camera is on. The mounting bracket is adjustable to fit on a monitor of any thickness, and the camera can swivel 360ยฐ plus tilt a few degrees up/down and side-to-side. Across the top are touch sensors to turn the camera off and on (left, top) or turn on the ring light (top right) and adjust the brightness. The light helps fill in shadows on faces with three levels of brightness. The bottom of the mounting clip has a threaded receptacle to use with a camera mount on a tripod or selfie stick. I plugged this into my Android media player and downloaded a USB webcam app that worked to record video. Zoom does install on my media player, but Google Meet had no problem installing and using the web cam. This opens the door to video conferencing with everyone in the household (or even for use at the office) without the need to connect a computer to the TV. Also, my media player connects to Twitch to record gaming sessions which now can include on-screen action, comments, and a live view of the player. The picture quality and color is good and auto-focus takes a second or two to adjust from far to close up. Closest focus ability seems to be 4-inch from the camera.

Definitely worth considering for an everyday webcam!
I must say, I am definitely impressed with the NUROUM webcam. This is a great little upgrade from my previous USB webcam which was showing its age when it comes to video quality. I've done a lot of livestreaming work over the years and I've got to say, this little camera is a great value. The built-in ring light is sort of debatable since it seems to add noise to the picture, so be sure to have some good lighting. I LOVE the camera on/off setting, which allows you to keep the camera running live but turns the sensor off, akin to having a lens cover. Why aren't more webcams like this? I use this webcam for my nightly Discord calls with online friends which works well and quickly. It appears to run smoothly and also instantly appears as a video option in OBS if you want to use it as a backup camera or even as a main camera before making any major upgrades to your livestreaming rig. The built-in microphone is what you'd expect, a really basic and thin-sounding mic which is all too common in mid-range webcams. I suggest picking up a better microphone such as a headset to improve your sound quality. This would do well for Zoom/Skype/Discord and various other video calling/conferencing needs most of all. It competes well with major brands who also make webcams in this price bracket I'd say. It gets the seal of approval from me!

The camera can stream up to 2k, if you find the way to set that, Slow autofocus
I liked this webcam for my videoconference with my students, because has a very good quality, autofocus, and the led light included. Has 2 touch buttons on the top: 1, for set the brightness level of the led light, and the 2nd, to turn off the webcam. The quality is very good for 1080p, also, I liked that can stream up to 60fps! , it's well made the webcam. The intensity/brightness of the led light it's not so good, really do not makes a great difference really. It is suppose that can record video up to 2k, and yes, it's possible if you have a webcam recorder software, with settings available that could allow to stablish a recording or streaming in 2k, in other way, if you are using apps like Zoom, QuickTime, Whatsapp, FB Messenger, or other similar apps, the recording will be made at 720p. And really I'm not sure that it would be recording at 60fps at those apps, unless you could find the settings to set also the recording at 60fps. I made a couple tests, and really, the quality of the image, is very good for 1080p, BUT I found 2 main issues for me: - Autofocus, it's not as fast and accurate, really it takes some time to focus on the subject. - Do not works so well with low light. - I realized that appears a "reflection" in the image or video, if you have some light behind you or also some window that allows to come the day light, and I saw why, because the webcam is capturing also the reflections caused inside the plastic cover that has the webcam that is covering the lens of the camera, and that's not good. The audio is good for the purpose. I could say that you could see a good resolution, but always if you could set the resolution to 1080p or 2k, in other way you would be streaming at 720p.

This is an amazing quality plug in webcam
I love this webcam and use it to zoom my grandson every night. The quality of the picture is is very nice. It has been very reliable. I like that I can use blur in the back ground and also my regular image for my background. I really appreciate that it was so easy to use for me team zoom meetings as well. This is a great price range especially for being able to use it for work on zoom , skype and discord a s well as otter conferences means. I recommend this to others who are needing one in this price bracket and especially with this great quality of imagery. I do have one main complaint that is a serious one this day in age. I do not like that there is NO camera lens BLOCKER. We all need this level of safety.

Nice camera with one big flaw
I stream to twitch with OBS studio and I have a couple other cameras to compare this to. It looks great, colors are nice and the image is sharp. The light built in to the camera doesn't really work well enough to be useful but I have an actual ring light for that so I do not dock it for that reason. It does 1080p 60 and looks nice and crispy. The main flaw in this product is the autofocus. It autofocuses every 2 or 3 seconds even though I have a ring light and can be seen just fine, and there is no movement in the room. I have background colored lamps for effects but they are pretty far away in the background, and they don't interfere with my other cameras. This is so frustrating because I feel awful streaming with a camera that keeps autofocusing every couple of seconds, it is unusable and I cannot suggest it to anyone. If you could turn off the autofocus, that would be fine. If I have a faulty unit, I will deal with customer service and edit my review. It is a shame, it is otherwise a cool webcam.
