ON MY PHONE WITH LOGO TOWARDS SCREEN IT DID NOT PASS AUDIO, BUT DID CHARGE. I FLIPPED IT AROUND AND IT CHARGED AND PASSED AUDIO

Works well at a great price

I've purchased JSAUX products in the past and they've served me well until I end up breaking them. I was very happy when I found out that they made this hybrid product because it would simplify things in my car. As soon as I started using the cable I noticed that the charging cable got really hot, really fast, but I decided to keep the product. In less than two month's the AUX portion stopped working. I contacted Amazon customer support and the representative explained that the product was outside the return window, to take it up with the seller. I was unable to contact the seller directly via any Amazon platform. The only thing I've gotten from the seller is marketing materials. I understand that product experiences can differ. This was my experience with this seller for this product.

Major issue is when you use this with an iphone, the volume skips odd intervals. Meaning if you hit the volume button once, it should go up 1 tick, but this one skips that single tick and moves up to the 2nd volume level, it's weird. It does not work with the most recent iPad (m-something, I don't know which it us but its a 2024 iPad pro). The headphone icon blinks on and off like it's constantly connecting and reconnecting. But for the iPhone (16 pro) itself it works well for charging and using a 3.5mm headphone.

Not good for audiobooks or anything with frequent moments of silence. During these moments, the audio jack is severely attenuated and it takes too long to come back when the silence ends.

Well, let me tell you, this adapter was a game changer for our long car trip with my neurodivergent kiddo.
