This duvet is perfect for warm nights. It is lovely and light to keep me cool. A bonus of such a lightweight duvet is the ease in which it goes into a duvet cover. It was advertised as 'seconds' but either I have been lucky, or their seconds stock is really good. There doesnt appear to be any loose stitching at all. It was delivered promptly and packaging was good. Overall I'm delighted with this purchase

Really good nice and light and cool

This is a factory second. I didn’t notice this in the product description until after delivery. Not sure if this was my fault or the description was updated after I placed the order. However, it seemed okay, even if a lot thicker than the 1.5 duvet it was replacing. After three months use I can now see that the quality is not good. The filling has all bunched up in places and holding it up to the light there are many places where there is hardly any filling. This is okay in the summer months but it’s not really going to be any use in the depths of winter, (yes, I do use a thin duvet all year round). I cannot recommend the product, which is a shame as it was a rarity in that it was made in Britain.

I already have a 4.5 tog duvet, so I bought this duvet, described as a 1 tog duvet, to use during the summer months. As it turned out, the duvet was subjectively as warm as my existing duvet - definitely more insulating than 1 tog. It is described as a factory second, but the quality was very good - just a couple of marks on it that I would not have been bothered about even if it had been new. There was no tog rating on the label. Subsequently I have tried putting two duvet covers inside my main duvet cover, and this gives a heavy 'top sheet' which is just right for the warmer months. I probably should have tried this first! :) So the duvet was fine in and of itself - but minus 1 star for being a higher tog than advertised. I gave it to a charity shop, so hopefully someone will get the benefit of it at a decent price.

I was sceptical because although it's light it does feel too thick to be 1 tog. However it did seem cooler then the 4 tog I was using. It's good quality for the price. The advert is not clear that you are getting factory seconds, I didn't realise that until it arrived with a factory seconds sticker on it, but I must have been lucky as it seems fine. They probably should do better in their product description to make that clearer, I'm sure the way they've almost hidden that wouldn't be legal.

Couldn't find a 1 Tog Single Duvet when I popped to the shops, and this one from Lancashire textiles was the cheapest when I logged into Amazon. It arrived the next day and, whilst listed as a 'slight second', is great quality and I can't find any defects with it. Wanted a very light summer Duvet for our eldest who refuses to wear anything but full pajamas even in very hot weather! Quick service, great product. Recommended.

‘Rattles about’ a bit in standard quilt cover but much lighter and cooler for a lady of ‘a certain age’.
