The weather stripping works very well at sealing the gap at the top of my entrance door. I had never noticed that it was missing until I saw light shining thru the top of the door. I did have to double layer it as my measurements were off and I ordered the wrong size. But it seals well and I don’t have any light coming thru. Installation is a breeze and it stays put once applied. I do have to double layer a positive door lock check, because it doesn’t close unless I give it a little extra push. But that’s not a deal breaker.its a good deal.

Just as described. The seal is amazing, the quality of the silicone feels good, 3M adhesives are generally best in the business and this is no different. Was very easy to install, they even provide gloves and alcohol wipes to clean the surface and help stick even better. It is silicone, so it is more flexible and less rigid than foam alternatives and can be a bit harder to keep in a straight line. Overall the value this will add in less heating and cooling will easily pay itself off in a single season.

Used this on my camper windows. We wished the adhesive had been a little better. We also thought we were still seeing daylight but it turned out we were seeing through the clear adhesive. I don't love that part.

This review would be 5-star if it wasn't for the percentage of product waste and partial loss of money. As advertised in a photo, this weather stripping comes "rolled up" in a package. I can't say if it was damaged in shipping or just didn't get inspected by the manufacturer. Opening the package, I found that approximately the first 3'-4' were crimped and squashed, thus too flat and out of shape, not useable as a door seal. The next section, and the bulk of the package, looked fine and worked fine well. The last 2'-3', however, was also bent and squashed out of shape. This section was also garbage. I still need more to complete the door seal and had little choice but to reorder a second package of the same product from the same provider. Needless to say, I'm destined to finish the job and basically endorse the product, but I am not at all pleased with the manufacturer / packager / inspection process, nor the value I received for the price I paid.

I have purchased 3 rolls of this weather stripping, and it works very well to seal the drafts out. The key to get a really good bond is to wash the surface down with to get the big particles of dirt off and as much as possible. Then go back over the surface that you are apply the weatherstrip to with the cleaner pads that they supply. I recommend wearing the gloves they also provide. Then start in a place that will not have a lot of stress on it maybe 3" from a corner. I stuck the weather stripping down and then with very light tension I would pull the red backing off and kept adhering the weather strip to the surface. I don't see any chaffing or wear, and it seals up nicely to both the doors and the windows that I have applied it to.

As I only had to block a few feet of drafty gaps, I have a lot left over. If I were going to use more, however, the provided cleaning pads wouldn’t come close to being enough. That being said, one small strip has already come loose, probably because I didn’t prepare the surface well enough. The adhesive on the strips themselves is not sticky enough to adhere without the recommended site prep. For my small jobs, this is a very good, cost-effective, choice.
