These arrived well nicely packaged. Not just for wine making, you can also use for kombucha or other recipes where you would use yeast. I like that they individually packaged so that they don't go stale when you're only using a bit at a time.

The Red Star Premier Rouge Wine Yeast is very high quality active dry yeast. This is a 5 pack of 5 gram individual packets. The yeast grows fast, and a lot of gas is produced. Can't wait for the finished product.

What I expected
Survived shipping without issue. The ones that I received came with a shelf life of around 2.5 years.. I didn't get this for wine making, but to use in bread products. It's a bit on the expensive side (at the time of this review) as they can be had for a good bit less elsewhere. Product of Mexico
