I have to say without much use the spring somehow failed to hold the needle inside the tube, and I was taken by surprise and got a pretty deep cut. It's not safe man.

I like these. I bought 3 of them.. my complaint is that they dont lock so its constantly disengaging which gets frustration depending on how you're using these... I'm not sure metal picks in your teeth is the most appropriate use, but to each their own. I like em, but if I bought em again I'd look for a more functional version.

Solid, compact, and easy to carry. Durable metal design with a keyring attachment makes them perfect for on-the-go use. My husband finds them super handy and practical.

I use this with a bong, helps clean it and scrape out gunk between refills. Before another steel toothpick seemed to break often and was hard to take apart for maintenance. This one is way more durable than my last types but its very easily to go the wrong direction and accidentally retract it while gunk is still on the pick.

Do not put it on a Keychain. The tip becomes loose by itself & you will loose the little tip & the inside spring. Then the leftover toothpick becomes useless.
