This is my go to knife for decades as a raw vegetarian. The wavy edge is not rough like a serrated edge. But it does seem to make it easily cut through tougher skins like tomato, so it out performs a straight edge on many fruits and veg. The colored handles make it easy to find while preparing food. It has a lifetime warranty and I have never had a defective issue in years and years of use. Remarkably, the knife remains sharp and the blade has not bent or lost its tip. I literally carry one in my suitcase where ever I travel so I can prepare food without hassle. I am purchasing this one as a gift to a friend who is skeptical about the wavy edge.

Excellent sharpness

Amazing knife even after using for 2 years its as good as new. No sharpening required. You will never need to buy a knife again.Be careful during initial days, as you might accidentally cut yourself, as you might need some getting used to it, as its sooo sharp.

This is the knife that people talk about when they say 'like a hot knife through butter'. It is super sharp, comfortable to hold, and very reasonably priced for a Victorinox product. I have taken over all the chopping duties in the kitchen since this arrived, much to my wife's amusement. I think I might go in for the one with the longer blade - the 11 cm example. The packaging was a bit torn when it arrived, but that does not take away from the quality of this knife. Having bought other Victorinox products before, I have no doubt that this will retain the same finish and quality as its other products even after years of use.A word of caution - you might use this knife with a lot more force than needed the first couple of times because you might be used to working with a duller knife, and that is a surefire way to cut yourself. Use it smoothly and carefully.

Anything by Victorinox is great. Seems to stay sharp forever.I’ve just purchased bread knife and Santoku knife by Victorinox. Both are lightweight and easy to grip. I had no difficulty cutting nice level slices of the bread with the bread knife with minimumeffort. The santoku was perfect on the lettuce. Would recommend to anyone who has arthritisin fingers or hands and has difficulty gripping things.

These are my absolutely favorite "go-to" knives. I own several and added three new ones this month! They are always sharp and up for any job. Super affordable. A real asset. Give them a try, you will be pleased. Dishwasher safe and works for virtually just about everything you need a knife for:)

Just the best paring knife. It cuts through anything. I’ve tried others and they just don’t compare. I don’t know what I’d do without it, especially since I have arthritic hands. This knife makes things easy.

This little paring knife is awesome. I love the serrated edge! It makes peeling so easy. Be careful, though, it's really sharp.
