Purchased this book for our studio library. It is a good addition as it chronicles the conception, design challenges, construction technique and designer methodology of select projects across differing regions. Is generous in coverage of a project; giving around 10 pages for each. Is on the more expensive side for the content. Could be considered as a collector's item and not as a manual for everyday inspiration. Indulge only if you must have or give it a pass.

I saw this book in a bookstore and really love the concept of showcasing residences from 4 different nations. It takes you to a journey of not only the house but also the story behind it, in the form of architect's own perspective of the space and detailed drawings and materials.It's a great quality of collection of houses. A must for architect's library.

I have bought so many books on houses but this seems to be one of the best one i got in recent time.This books gives you everything that you would like to see in your dream house , be it exterior, interior or landscape. Each project has a detailed description of thought and its execution with its layout plan and hats off to the author for elaborating it nicely. Its a ideal book for someone who wanted to build a smart house.Thumbs Up !!!!
